*Lucy's POV*

After lots of consideration and thinking. I decided to finally tell him know how I feel. I mean I was unsure at first, but I've read enough books to know signals. We cuddle a lot, we're always together, even when we eat he'll feed me some of his food with his fork. Those are signals right?

     I shook it off and decided not to overthink it.  Just go for it Lucy.  I smiled to myself and marched to the guild, I was dedicated to doing it today.

     "Why you so tense Luce?"

     I turned around quickly, my heart skipped a beat, I'm not even at the guild yet!  "O-oh hey Natsu, what do you mean?"  He laughed and started to walk by me, "you look like you want to fight someone, are you okay Luce?"  I walked by him quietly, how am I even supposed to respond. 

     "Wait am I right? Who is it Luce, I'll beat them into the ground!"  I sighed knowing I shouldn't have been quiet for too long, "no you're not going to beat anyone up.  Anyway I thought you were at the guild."  He stretched his arms up and groaned from it, "nope, I went to your apartment to see you but you were gone.  I figured you were already making your way to the guild." 

     "Did you need something if you came over so early?"  Natsu grinned, "nope, just wanted to see ya Luce!" 

     It things like this right?  He must like me back if he gives off signals like this.  "Hey Natsu, where's Happy?"  He looked at the sky and continued walking, "he's sleeping in, he says he's tired from a night out with Carla.  But I think he spent the night trying to get her to see him."  He laughed and continued on about the exceeds.  I stopped walking, it's perfect timing.  It's now or never.  "Natsu."

     He stopped as well and hummed in response.  His onyx eyes were staring at me, I wanted to retreat but I came this far.  We're alone, its the perfect time.  So just do it. 

     "I like you."

     Without hesitation he grinned, "I like you too Luce.  I couldn't be happier that we're partners."  I sighed knowing he didn't understand the 'like' I was talking about.  "No Natsu, I like you."  He got closer to my face and stared at me, "Yes Luce." He pointed at himself then at me, "I. Like. You. Too."

     Mavis help me get through this day.

     I grabbed him by the shoulders, all the tension I had earlier disappeared.  It was like I was teaching a child the difference between his like and my like.  "Natsu I mean I like you.  I want to be with you, in a relationship.  I want to go on dates and be romantic with you.   That's how I like you."  He stared at me without an expression, for a second it looked like there was pain in his eyes. I must have just been imagining it.

     "O-oh..."

     Then I realized what I just did.  I took my hands off him and immediately got nervous again.  "I-I mean it's okay if you don't feel the same way, I would totally understand.  I wasn't expecting a definite answer."  Even though I actually was.

     He hesitantly smiled, "o-okay I feel better then."
