*Natsu's POV*

"Nashuuuuuu! Just do iiiittt~ What if she falls in love with someone else, maybe Gray?!"

Happy was bothering me for the millionth time this week. He wants me to "confess" my love for Lucy to him, then to her. I mean I do love her, but it's never going happen, so I don't plan on telling anyone. "Happy no, I'm not going to try to get with Luce, nor are you going to convince me, ok?" He sighed, "c'mon Natsu. It's obvious. You love her, I bet she loves you. Just confess!!"

     I sighed knowing nothing will stop him. We continued walking to the guild. Holidays are always a big thing for FairyTail. Mira and Makarov would kill me if I didn't show up on New Year Eve's. During holidays, no one in the guild is allowed to go on missions, not even Guildarts. In Mystogan's place, Jellal has to show up. It's pretty insane how much the guild prioritizes these.

     I opened the guild doors and walked in. Everyone was gathered around the bar while the old man was talking. Mira saw me first, "oh good your here Natsu. You're the last one. We were just talking about the party tonight! So no one leaves." Her eyes lit on fire. I sweat dropped but nodded. "Good for you to show Natsu." I looked towards the voice.

     Lucy.

     "Oh hey Luce! When did you get here? I didn't smell you." She laughed, "it's probably because of all the people crowded around here. But I've been here for about three hours." I nodded and grinned. Levy called her so she left. I sighed from relief, her scent is too intoxicating. "Yo Flamebrain." I didn't have to look to know exactly who that was, "Oi Ice Princess, good for you to be here. Where's Juvia?" I turned around with a smirk, Gray was standing there blushing, with a glare.

     "Shutup. Like I know where she's at." He stormed off before I could answer, I laughed at his immaturity. I mean I am immature also, but I at least accept my feelings. I shrugged it off and sat at the bar when everyone walked off. Mira came up to me, "hey Natsu, what's on your mind?" I shook my head, "not much. I'm just thinking random thoughts. Why you ask?" She shrugged, "oh nothing. Hey can you go with Lisanna to get some more plates from the store? We don't have enough." I stood up and nodded, "sure."

     We left the guild and went to get some plates. It was 1 o'clock, so we had plenty of time til we eat at the guild. "So Lisanna, how are you and Bickslow?" She smiled and nodded, "we're good! We hardly have arguments and he's never unreasonable. It's great." I grinned, "that's good to hear." I was about to ask her more questions but she gasped. "Natsu look!" There was a cat laying on the road. It was limp and bleeding, it must have gotten ran over. "We have to get help from somewhere!" I nodded in agreement, a little detour won't hurt, we're saving a life anyway. Lisanna picked up the cat and we ran around looking for a vet. We finally found one and waited for the results.

     A lady in a white gown approached us, "the cat you brought in will be fine. We were able to stop the bleeding and the wound is patched up. We'll take care of it until it's fully healed. Thank you for your services." Lisanna sighed and slouched in her chair. "You were really nervous huh?" She looked at me and smiled, "I'm really glad it's okay. I'm sorry it took so much time, I just wanted to make sure it was okay." I stood up and dusted myself off, "no it's fine. I know you care a lot about animals. Besides, we still have time to get the plates." I looked at the clock in the waiting room.

     2:30

     "Well we better go, Mira's probably wondering where we're at." We left the vet but suddenly Lisanna stopped. "What's wrong Lisanna?" She turned around and faced me, "Natsu we were so focused on finding a vet, I don't know where we're at. Please tell me you do." I looked around the area...
