*Gray's POV*

     We were on a job, practically done actually. We're going to the house of the requester to collect our jewels. Erza walking ahead of us since she knew where he lived. I walked shortly after her with my hands in my pocket. Lucy trailed along after me, humming to herself as she took in the scenery of flowers. Since she was always stuck in a mansion, she started to love traveling new places, always delighted with the smallest things. Natsu followed last, his hands linked together behind his head as he whistled a tune that matched Lucy's. Happy flew around us, randomly going in circles because apparently 'walking is the most boring thing.'

We go to the house, a cottage that had fields of vegetables behind it. Erza and the man were at the door, talking about the job. The rest of us stood a bit farther from the porch, letting Erza handle it. Something happened and Erza looked back at us nervously. Slowly she looked back at the guy and nodded her headed.

     We don't know what they said but when she walked back towards us, a girl followed behind. She looked around Lucy's age, brown hair with a purple dress. Natsu and Lucy were talking when they approached us, I guess Happy and I were the only two that noticed them. The girl ran up to Natsu and Lucy, she grabbed onto Natsu's arm and swung around with it. Natsu being Natsu, looked at her oddly and hesitantly laughed, "Erza what's happening?"

     Erza smiled apologetically, "this is Mina, she's going to come with us to visit around the town. Since she's lives out here with her father, he wants her to go see the world. Plus she's very fond of you Natsu." Natsu nodded, "yea I can see that."

     Erza gave us the run down, take the girl around town, get more jewels. So instead of going back home to Magnolia, we ended up staying around doddling for who knows how long. Erza guided us once more. Followed by Natsu and the girl who just wouldn't let go of him. Happy trailed along as Lucy and I walked behind them all.

     Natsu slowed down and looked towards us, the girl was halted when she felt Natsu's arm stop moving. As we approached them, Natsu pulled out his cheeky grin, "you're so slow Luce! Try taking larger steps." Lucy huffed at his comment, "well we're not all part human and part immortal Natsu. I'm walking at a reasonable pace, see even Gray walks the same way."

     "That's because he's a princess, of course he'll walk like that." I smacked him in the head, "Shutup Flamebrain." Natsu laughed but was cut off when the girl pulled him again, "Natsuuu talk to meee!!" Lucy and I laughed a bit, I guess she heard and looked at us. The look was unsettling, "uh I'm Gray, Gray Fullbuster." Mina smiled and nodded, "I've heard so much about you."

     "I'm Lucy, Lucy Hear-"

     "I know." Mina didn't smile or nod, she quickly turned back forward and pulled Natsu with her.

     "..."

     "Girls just have the tendency of not liking you." Lucy bumped my shoulder, "yea I know." I laughed and ruffled her hair, "c'mon slow poke, let's catch up."

"You're walking the same speed you know!"

We got back to town. We lost Erza because she ran off to get more cake. Happy flew off to find something for Carla when we get back. The four of us walked around. Mina constantly pointing out things and giggling at Natsu. I'm not as nice as Natsu, of course I don't like her.

It seems like Lucy's somewhat on the same page.

     I turned towards her, her usual smile wasn't there. She had this sad aura, like a lost puppy. Even the coldest person would worry about her. (Getttt iiiittt???? ;D)
