Wizards and guilds.

*Nobody's POV*

Lucy Heartfillia walked to the guild on a nice summer day. Her golden hair in a side ponytail running down her body. She hummed happily to herself, enjoying the slight, but easing, breeze. It was nearly three, but she was glad she got out of the apartment.

Lucy walked into the guild doors and saw everyone huddled up. Being as curious as she was, she decided to join them and see what caught everyone's attention. They were circled around one of the tables. It must be a person then.

Lucy peeked her head in and only saw a glimpse of dark brown hair. Well it certainly is a person. But who?

"Lucy." The celestial mage jumped as she turned around. Alarmed that someone took her out of her thoughts, "Gray? Who's the person everyone's huddled around?" The shirtless ice wizard folded his arms and looked at the mage in front of him, "you haven't heard? That's the new guy." Lucy pondered for a moment.

     The new guy?

     A new guild member?

"He came here yesterday evening. Only a few of us were here. Mostly everyone saw him today, so now they're all interested." Lucy nodded in response, so there's a new guild member huh? Lucy smiled at Gray, "well I should go greet him." Gray nodded and walked off towards a different table. Lucy turned back towards the crowd and squeezed through. Once she got near the middle, she smiled and waved at the brown haired boy.

The boy was smiling and waving at everyone. But once he saw Lucy, he stared at her, fascinated. He got up and smiled, sticking his hand out for her to shake, "hi, I'm Lane."

"Lucy."

Lane felt love struck, never did he think he would meet someone so gorgeous. Her voice is so light, she must be very nice.

Lucy and Lane talked for awhile until Lucy said she had to go run her errands. But in all honesty, she didn't really have a liking to the guy. He kept saying she was pretty and wouldn't stop staring. Lucy didn't want a guy to talk to her just for looks. She even thought Loki had more respect.

"Excuse me, sorry but I have to go run my errands. It was really great meeting you though." Lucy got up and headed towards the doors, only a few steps later, Lane followed her and started walking beside her, "I'll help you." Lucy stopped in her tracks and tried to smile kindly, "no really, it's okay. I don't want to take your day away. There's still a lot of guild members you haven't met." Lane smiled and shrugged his shoulders, "well there's always tomorrow." Lucy hesitantly laughed, "right." She continued walking out the door, with Lane right beside her.

They walked towards the grocery store. Lane constantly trying to bring up a topic, and Lucy desperately trying to avoid them. Once they arrived, Lucy went to get a cart but Lane ran over and grabbed it before she can. "A lady mustn't have to do everything by themselves."

Lucy internally cringed but still smiled, "thanks." She didn't see the harm in her pushing her own cart. She walked towards the vegetables and got certain items. She also went to get some meat and a bit of dessert.

Once they got to the checkout, Lucy was going to put the bags into the cart, but once again, Lane beat her to it. She sighed and decided to walk back towards her apartment, he'll follow anyway.

She got to her apartment and grabbed her keys to open the door. Then she remembered he was with her. She turned around and grabbed the bags, "thank you. It was very kind of you to help me. I'll see you at the guild." Lane chuckled a bit, "you have a lot of food you got, maybe I should help you put it away." Lucy shook her head, "no really I got it." Lane took the bags back, "c'mon let me help. A lady shouldn't have to fix everything herself." Lucy grabbed the bags once more, "no really. I'm fine." She opened the door and walked in, before she could close it, Lane entered. He smiled and examined her kitchen, "so this is where you live huh?" Lucy put the bags on the table and turned towards him. She forcefully smiled, "I just remembered! I have to go shopping. For other stuff. Like right now."
