Gruvia Special~ What Happened?

Guilds and wizards.

*Natsu's POV*

     Luce has been acting strange lately. I mean she's always strange. But she's been acting really strange. You know?

     It started about a week ago. We would always hangout. Whether on missions or on days we didn't have anything to do.  Even getting groceries, we'd do it together. We didn't have to ask the other to hangout, it was automatic. But lately it stopped. It was our cleaning day but she left saying she had things to take care of. I tried to follow, but she wouldn't let me.

     I was at the guild thinking about it. I kept tapping the counter at the bar trying to think of ways to get her attention.

     "tsu.....Natsu.......Natsu!"

    I snapped out of it and looked up, "huh?! Oh, hey Mira." She leaned on the counter across me and sighed, "what's going on Natsu?" So she could tell.

I shrugged my shoulders, "I don't know. It's Luce. She's been really distant with me lately. We hardly talk, it's like she wants to avoid me. Every time I get the chance to go see her, she brushes me off and leaves." I sank into the seat and leaned my head on the counter.

     Mirajane pondered for a moment. "Maybe she's doing something important." I looked up at her, "like what?" She shrugged this time and stood up, "maybe she's planing something? Going through something? Or maybe she wants time to discover herself? She came to Fairytail to do that. But she didn't really get the chance because you guys paired up pretty fast. But I don't think she'd ignore you because she wants to, there must be a reason."

     "That's it!" I jumped up which seemed to make Mira jump a little too. "What do you mean?" I grinned at her, "she wants to discover herself! That makes perfect sense. Better yet, I'll go help her!"

     "Natsu that's not how discovering herself wor-"

     I left the guild before she could finish. Lucy should have been honest about it. I would have understood and I would've been there to help her! Well it's not too late now, I still can. I marched to her apartment and caught her just as she was leaving. She was walking the opposite way of the guild. I caught up to her before she got far, "hey Luce! Where yuh goin? The guild is this way."

Lucy tensed once she heard my voice, that's odd. She turned around and smiled, "o-oh. I'm not going to the guild." I put my hands on the back of my head, "so where we going?" I started to walk the direction she was walking.

Lucy sighed and pulled my arm back, "no Natsu, you're not going with me." I stumbled back and whined, "whaat? What do you mean I can't go?" Lucy folded her arms and continued walking, "because it doesn't involve you Natsu. This is between me and another person." She checked the watch on her wrist and sighed, "Natsu I have to go, I'm already running late." Lucy walked down the street and turned around the corner before I could ask her what she's running late for.

     What does she mean other person? And it doesn't involve me? Well if it involves Luce, then it certainly involves me. I decided to see where she was going and who she was going to see. What could she be hiding?

     She ended up at another apartment. I feel like I've been here before. But for who? Luce knocked on the door and waited for a response. The door opened but I couldn't see who it was. But Luce sure seemed happy to see them. Who could make her that happy?

     It was like my question was answered.

     He came out and nervously rubbed his head. Lucy smiled at him and sighed. He didn't exactly have a shirt on, which isn't a surprise, but he hugged her anyway. It looked like he was relieved to see her. To hug her.
