Lucy's Date

Setting is with the guild and wizards.

*Natsu's POV*

     I was walking to Luce's apartment and of course I jumped through her window.  I stood there with my eyes shut knowing she would smack me for not using the door, but she didn't. I peeked and saw that Lucy was looking at herself in the mirror. What she doing that for? Like I know she's beautiful and all, but she doesn't need a mirror to tell her that.

     And yes me calling her 'beautiful' probably makes you wonder if we're a thing. But we're not, still I do secretly love her of course. I just don't know how to tell her, but I think she likes Gray.

     After a while of looking at herself, she finally saw me. "Natsu! Use the door for once!" Then she smacked me, yup. There it is. I gave her my signature grin, "so Luce! What you up to?"

     "Nothing, I'm just about to go somewhere, and you?" I smiled, "well I'm going with you of course."

     "No you are not." I looked at her, "what? Why not?" She sighed, "because Natsu, I'm going somewhere alone and you can't come."

     "Luuccce come on, I wanna go," she ran her hands through her hair. "Natsu trust me, you don't wanna go with me, you're not patient and you'll wreck everything up and you might bug them."

     "Them?"

     "Nothing Natsu. I got to go." Before I could answer she already left. I sat there thinking. Could Lucy actually be going on a...date? She was dressed up nice. And she was talking about someone. And she said I couldn't go. She is.

     I jumped off her bed and ran after her. I caught up and she turned around, "Natsu!" I looked at her and grabbed her by the shoulders, "I don't care if you don't want me to come Luce. I'm still going with you. No matter where it is. And you're not changing my mind." I said that in a stern way. She sighed and nodded her head. I smiled, "thanks Luce!" We walked for a while then I guess we finally came to our destination.

     A book store?!

     "Luce why we here?"

     "It's called a book store for a reason silly." I sighed. Well this guy must be lame to have a date at a book store.

     We walked in and the next two hours I ended up carrying a bunch of books for Lucy. Was she even going on a date? "Luce?" "Hmm"

     "Weren't you going on a date?"

     She laughed, "a date? What made you think that?" I shrugged, "well you're dressed up and you said you didn't want me to come. And you said I'd bug them. Weren't you going on a date?" She giggled. "Hey what's so funny?"

     "Natsu I wasn't going on a date. I'm not dressed up, I'm just wearing different clothes than my usual ones. And I didn't want you to come because it's a book store, you'll get bored and disturb the other customers, the customers are the 'them' I was talking about."

     Well that makes a lot of sense. "Hey Natsu?" I hummed in response. "Why did you want to come if you thought I was going on a date?"

     "Oh uh no reason." She gave me that deadly 'you-better-tell-me' look. I sighed, "because.....because I.....I was jealous that you would be going on a date with someone......that wasn't me."

     She looked at me for a while, "what are you saying Natsu?" I rubbed my head, "I-I love you Luce. I always have. I just thought you liked...someone else." She giggled. Oh great, now she thinks it's funny. "I love you too Natsu."

     Wait what?!

    "Y-you love me?!" She giggled again and nodded her head. I grabbed her and swung her around. When I put her down she started talking again, "hey Natsu?"

     "Yea?" I looked at her. "Who did you think I liked?" Oh shiz. "Oh umm heh" "Natsu!"

     "Gray."

     "Natsu!!"

     "What?! I told you!"

     She sighed, "I know you did. I just can't believe you thought I liked Gray." Then she started laughing. "Forget it. Let's just enjoy this moment." I laughed and nodded in agreement.

     I'm glad she loves me back.
