"So where are we heading"

"I don't know, pick a location and then pick me up at home"

"Whattttt???  You suggested this meeting"

"Yeah I did, you better show up on time we are leaving by 4. Oh before I forget you're paying. Bye big boy see ya later"

I turn off my phone and lie on my bed. School has been rough lately prom is near and temperatures are running high. Everyone's looking for partners, I know Soph and Cal are going together, Ty is going with his lab partner, she's really nice and I plan on staying at home.

Everyone's waiting to see who the three hot boys are going to pick, Cole and Aaron already have partners I don't know about Dylan though. Soph keeps saying he's going to ask me to prom but I doubt it.

Dylan is just my friend and I really need someone to keep me company nowadays since all my friends are paired so Dy gets to put up with me every time.

Well I do hope he has enough sense to plan something nice tonight. I get up from my bed and pad to my closet.

"Where are we going Dy?"

"You really don't have the right to ask, you asked if I wanted to hang and then you tell me to pick and also pay, where did I get you from" He says

"You look so cute when you pout, I should do this more often" I say aloud to myself, he glares at me and I burst into laughter.

"Seriously though where are we going to?" I ask again.

"Movies"

"Seriously? We could have just gone to your house and watched something on Netflix" I groan

"You can't complain sweetheart and stop whining I'm driving a car"

"Bitch please" I roll my eyes.

"What are we watching??"

I don't know we'd pick something together when we get there" he replies

"Fine" I sigh "Just know I'm getting extra large popcorn and a large soda"

"I expect nothing less" he laughs.

We ended up watching No time to die and I loved it to be honest although my popcorn finished before the movie got halfway, after we leave the cinema we stop at the pizza place, ordered a pizza and he dropped me at home.

I step inside my house and I'm surprised to meet my parents at home.

"Welcome home baby" my mom says

"You didn't tell me you were coming home" I say with a brow raised, usually when they come home it's for business nothing else they believe I have everything I need which to be honest I do but I'd appreciate having my parents around sometimes.

"Is that how to welcome us back home love" I turn around and see my dad.

"Hey Dad" I wave at him.

"How are you mi amor"

"Been good"

"Who just dropped you off?" My mom asks

"Oh that's Dylan, we went to the cinema together" I say walking to the kitchen to get some water and they follow me behind.

"Really? Are you guys seeing each other now??" Asks mom

I almost choke on my water and I spin around "What???? No no no. We are just friends"

"That's nice, how's Sophia and Caleb??"

"They are fine as always" I say and walk past them to my room "I'm going to bed byee"

"But you just got home won't you hangout with us?" My mom says

"I'm really tired mom, I need to sleep" I say "goodnight, I'll see you guys tomorrow"

"Goodnight princess" I hear my dad say

"Have a wonderful night's rest, I love you" my mom coos from down the stairs and I enter my room.
