"Well I wasn't expecting this" I say to him as we walk back to the car, hell I wasn't even expecting him to show up at my house.
"I knew you were going to stay at home all day, well I actually guessed and I was lucky enough to catch you at home" he told me showing me his teeth.
"Very lucky indeed" I smile at him, I look down at my stomach and mentally groan it looks big.
"Let's go for a walk at least it will help you digest the mighty food you ate earlier" he says with a smirk and I frown at him.
Well Dylan brought me to the outskirt of town there's this beautiful small dwelling around here, the people are nice and welcoming and they are somehow very familiar with Dylan. The food here is also spectacular, I didn't expect this though.
"Can I ask you something-" I look at him and he nods "-okay so how did you find this place out, I didn't take you as a person who'd want to come to this kind of place" I ask hoping he will give me a valid answer.
"I don't know, I was driving around one day and I just found this place, I come here once in a while" he says with a shrug.
"Doesn't look like you come here once in a while though" I say with a nervous laugh
"Yeah" he says
"There's this place I found out some weeks ago, I think you will like the place. Wanna follow me and explore??" He turns around and asks me after about 5 minutes of awkward silence.
"Sure" I say beaming at him.
We walk for about 30 minutes and I'm about to give up and sit down somewhere when a clearing comes into view.
"This place is beautiful" I exclaim as I look around.
"Thought as much" he says more to himself but I heard.
The clearing is lively full of different flowers and there are lots of butterflies, there are big trees surrounding the clearing making it more beautiful like a world on its own. There's a small lake in the middle of the clearing and it's crystal clear and it also looks kinda deep. I look up at Dylan and I capture a smile on his face.
"The walk was totally worth it, this place is magnificent, I love it" I say as I plop down on the soft grass and pluck a flower.
I feel a presence over my head and I look up "Aren't you going to sit down" I ask him.
"Nahhhh, I think I'll take a dip" he says as he walks to the edge of the lake, strips down to his boxers and get into the water.
"You can look now" His laughter booms round the field.
I blush deep red "Yeah okay"
He goes under the water and doesn't come up for some minutes and when I'm about to panic he surfaces.
I let out a breath and he laughs "Don't you want to come in Chipmunk"
"No thank you" I tell him and continue watching him swim. He suddenly gets out of the water and walks towards me and he doesn't stop until he's like 1cm away from me.
Before I could comment on our closeness and his strange behavior, he turns around, pick up his clothes and start walking back to the car.
I practically run after him and by the time I'm close enough i'm already frustrated. We get into the car and he races off.
We get to my house faster than I thought and I get down from the car, slam the door as hard as I can to prove a point. When I get inside I take a long shower, change into bluey and grab my phone.
Immediately I put it on, my phone is assaulted with messages but I'm only focused on one
Dylan: Am sorry Chipmunk.
That boy is a wonder
