The hate game

Today is Saturday and I plan on staying indoors throughout today. My plans for today are reading novels, watching Netflix and eating a lot of junk foods, sleeping around and generally just being lazy. I told my besties not to bother about me because I will be fine all by myself and they need time for themselves as they have not gone on a date alone without me tagging along.

So I am sat on my bed with different snacks arranged on the bed around me as I decide to watch To the boys I've ever loved again and wish I'm Lara jean with her perfect life and her soooo handsome boyfriend Peter.

I'm halfway through the movie when I hear someone enter my room and I jump halfway across the room before realizing that it was my mom that entered the room.

"Mom" I say surprised "what are you doing here, I thought you had a business deal that you were still handling and what about Dad Is he here with you too"

"Calm down baby, I know you are surprised to see me here and yes I still have a business deal going on but your Dad and I decided to take a day off and visit our little princess" She says

"We decided to take you out and I am very sure that you have not had your bath so go have your bath and dress up and come down cause we are going out. Come on shoo into the toilet and clear up this mess of a room and meet us downstairs" She says as she heads downstairs.

I groan and move towards my bed and gather all the wraps and pieces of candy on my bed and the floor. So much for a day at home arrrrrgggghhhhh.

I get into the shower take my bath and dress up. Knowing my Parents I know we are going to fancy restaurant and we are definitely still going to meet some of their business associates that is their idea of fun.

"Hey Dad" I wave at him and he smiles back "I'm ready" I tell my mom who gives me a sweep over and decides I'm good to go.

"Uhmm baby we are going to meet a friend of mine who just moved here recently so I hope you don't mind" I shake my head even though I absolutely mind.

By the time we get to the restaurant I'm already bored out of my mind because all my parents did was talk about business and occasionally about my school, it was time like this I missed my brother terribly cause he would have made me laugh my ass off with his jokes. I am getting pissed with their chatter and it is making me wonder  why they came home in the first place. I just can't wait for this dinner to be done so they can go back to their work and I can get my space back.

When we get to the restaurant we got shown to our table where we waited for the other family to arrive which they did not long after my mom told me they have a son who was coming along with them and the boy happened to be the boy in the hallway. So much for low profile.
