"Hey Scott!" Carson and Lydia wave but he just walks away.

"Weird," Carson laughs, opening her locker.

"So Tyler?" Lydia asks, putting on lip gloss.

"Has resolved all issues with us not being exclusive," Carson explains, smirking into her mirror.

"Why?" she questions, raising an eyebrow.

"I'm just that good," she smirks and grabs her textbook.

"That's my girl," Lydia high fives her, closing the door as they walk away.

"Hey Stiles, I heard about your dad. Is he gonna be okay?" she sits on his desk.

"Um yeah, he should be. I hope," he looks down.

"Well I'll stop by to check on him tonight okay?" she touches his hand.

"Thanks," he smiles, as she goes to sit next to Tyler.

"What, are you Stiles' girlfriend now?" he sneers.

"Okay, that jealous look? It's not good on you. I suggest you attend to it as soon as possible," she rolls her eyes.

"I'm just saying, you treat him more like a boyfriend than me, who-" he starts.

"Who what? Because you're not my boyfriend. I said I'll give you a chance, not that I suddenly am your property. But yes, please do tell me not to comfort my friend of 6 years when his father gets hit by a car, because it makes you jealous," she glares, moving seats.

Ready for lunch, Carson struts out of the classroom, darting to the cafeteria.

"The what of who?" Lydia asks, while Carson sits down with her food.

"The Beast of Gevauden. Listen-- A quadruped wolf-like monster, prowling the Auvergne and south Dordogne areas of France during the year 1764 to 1767. La Bête killed over a hundred people, becoming so infamous that the King Louis XXV sent one of his best hunters to try and kill it," Allison reads.

"Please tell me that we don't read that in French today," Carson frowns.

"Boring," Lydia sighs.

"Even the church eventually declared the monster a messenger of Satan," she continues.

"Not getting better," Carson comments.

"Cryptozoologists believe it may have been a subspecies of hoofed predator, possibly a mesonychid..." she starts reading again.

"Slipping-into-a-coma bored," Lydia rolls her eyes.
