𝘓𝘰𝘷𝘦 -𝘏𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘙𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱

My eyelids opened as I adjusted to the bright sunlight beaming through the window.

"Morning sunshine," Fred said as I put my head up from his chest.

"Morning," I said. "About last night"

"No, it's okay you needed someone to talk to," Fred said. "And I was there"

"Thank you," I said. "it feels better to open up"

"Of course it does!" Fred said. "Jade you're like a bomb"

"What?"

"You can go off at any minute," He said as both of us laughed

"Honestly shut the hell up," Liv said as she flipped us off.

"Don't mind her, too much to drink" I whispered.

"I'll go freshen up and see you at breakfast," Fred said as he got up from my bed.

"See you" I smiled uncontrollably. He walked out the door. I took a deep breath and pulled out the aspirin on my bedside table. I picked up a glass and "Aguamenti"

"Here," I said handing over the glass of water and aspirin pill to Liv.

"I love you," Liv said.

"I love you too," I said.

I wore one of Liv's shirts and sweatpants and went down for breakfast. I walked into the Great hall and looked over at the Gryffindor table to see Fred sitting with Angelina Johnson. I didn't mind because he can have other friends too.

I sat down a bit close to them but didn't want to eavesdrop. but I kind of wanted to. What were they talking about? I don't know I just seemed curious.

I ate my breakfast quietly observing everything around me. Harry, Ron, and Hermione spending their breakfast together, Enzo playing with Daphne, Draco still being the lifeless boy, Luna chatting with her friend, Neville talking to Seamus and Dean, and Fred and Angelina very close together.

"Good morning," Ginny said as she sat beside me.

"Morning Gin," I said as I turned to look for Liv. "Morning"

"Don't talk to me right now" She said as she massaged her forehead.

"Here eat the creamy, oily boiled eggs" I teased as I pushed the plate towards her.

"Jade I swear to god I will throw up on you," She said. "Is that my shirt?"

"Yeah, had to borrow one," I said. "My other one's are nowhere to be found. and I don't feel like wearing Enzo's shirts"

"Ok," She said as she ate plain bread. Her favorite hangover food.

"Any highlights from the party last night?" I asked.

"Well, Enzo and Daphne are like serious dating," Ginny said hesitantly. "And Liv may have punched Daphne and called her a whore"

"I- WHAT?" I said surprised.

"Oh that's why my hand hurts so much" Liv added.

"How drunk were you?" I asked.

"100,0000%" Liv said. Ginny and I laughed way too hard.

"Hey," Fred said as he sat down beside me.

"Hi," I said. I was now, smiling uncontrollably.

"You're seriously eating plain toast?" Fred said staring at the 'Messy-haired, Hungover, Sports bra and sweatpants Liv'

"It's the only thing she can eat when she has a hangover" I replied.

"Baby look it's the Slut and her whores" Daphne said as Enzo's arm was wrapped around her waist. They walked towards us.

"Look Dap-" Fred said.

"Shh Fred, I'd like to know what she wants to say," I said as I sarcastically looked at her.

"No one would ever date them, that's so sad," She said.

"Tell your boyfriend that," I said eyeing Enzo, up and down, then in his eyes. "He begged me to" Fred, Ginny, and Liv laugh uncontrollably.

"No one asked" Daphne spat.

"Why were you listening?" I said as I got up, grabbed my pumpkin juice, and threw it at her face. I put my middle finger up and walked away.

Fred, Liv, and Ginny followed me.

"What just happened?" Ginny said.

"I think Jade is co-ol" Liv said.

"I am," I said as I flipped my hair in her face as a joke.

"I never knew this Jade existed," Liv said surprisingly. "I love her"

"Jade is literally amazing," Fred said.

"Jade!" Enzo screamed. I turned around to see him running towards us.

"And you are?" I joked. "What do you want?"

"I just wanted to say you were acting really immature," He said.

"Shut the hell up," I said. "Daphne's the one who's acting immature. She was straight up talking shit and you wouldn't tell her to shut up so I did"

"Why would I tell her to shut up?" Enzo screamed.

"Don't ever raise your fucking voice at me" I said.

"jade, can we just talk?" Enzo said.

"ok" I puffed angrily. We walked into an empty classroom. "What did you want to say?"

"I think you're jealous," Enzo said. "That we just broke up a week ago and I'm already with Daphne"

"Enzo, I can't seriously be jealous!" I said. "Of Daphne!, Please I know I'm better"

"Jade!" Enzo said. "What happened to you? You've been acting so weird"

"YOU! You happened" I said as a tear ran down my eye. "I let you into my life again and I completely messed up AGAIN" I wiped the tear fast. "I have completely ruined my life by letting you in every. Single. Time you came running back to me"

"Jade, I love you and I don't want to hurt you anymore. I love you, and I have to let you go"

"You can go fuck yourself for all I care" I raised up my middle finger.

"Jade I-" He paused.

Silence.

Enzo pulled me into a hug and brushed through my hair.

"Enzo what happened to us?" I asked.

"A lot of things" He answered. He pulled away from our hug and dove in towards my lips.

"Did you feel something?" Enzo asked.

"What?"'

"Did you feel something? Anything?" He asked. "You didn't because you don't love me. You love someone else"

"I-" I said. "What?"

"I've seen you and Fred," He said. "You 2 clearly love each other" He put my hair behind my ear as He and I locked eyes.

"I've never been more in love with you, but you love him" Enzo added. "Every day I wake up and regret losing you. I regret how I've treated you"

"I've lost you" He added.

"Enzo," I said. I couldn't say anything else, he was completely correct.

"Just forget about it," Enzo said. "Have a nice life"

"When I see you every day? When I look at you and all my mistakes flood right in?" I said.

"I love you, but you need to let go," He said. He kissed my forehead and walked out of the empty classroom.

Why do bad things always happen to me? Why was I the screw-up? The failure.
