Last night was quite the adventure. Enzo and I almost kissed, I told him we were just friends and then left.

M O N D A Y

"So Potions with Liv today" I said brushing my hair. "And Ginny has charms" I said. Our Schedules were taped to our mirror so, while we would get ready we knew our schedule for the day. I pinned my hair back and stood up.

"Let's go Liv come on!" I said grabbing my book from my bed. "We're going to be late"

"I'm coming! Its only 9!" Liv said. "Oh shit its 9! Lets go!" Liv and I ran out the dorm and then out the common room. We ran down the stairs to the the dungeons and stepped into the Potions classroom.

"Ms. Allen, Ms. Jesson how nice of you to join us" Professor Slughorn said. "Find your places"

We walked towards Hermione and Harry's table which was right beside Enzo, Blaise, Draco and Pansy's table.

"Everyone will be making their own batch of Amortentia" Professor Slughorn said. "As you all know Amortentia is the strongest love potion in the world. It smells different to each person, according to what attracts them"

"Amortentia!" Liv said. "finally"

I was pretty nervous. Who would I smell?

"Get started" You have exactly a week" Slughorn added. "The table you're at right now will be your group for this project"

"Ok let's start" Hermione said. She skimmed her book to find the instructions to make the spell. Harry read his potions book and Liv and I gathered materials Hermione told us to get.

I reached in to get the rose thorns and passed it to Liv. She was helping Hermione brew the potion.

NEXT MONDAY

It had been a week. We spent most of our time in the Potions classroom to make the brew and finally our Amortentia was ready.

"Now Mr. Potter and his group, Please step forward and bring your Amortentia with you" Slughorn said. "Each of you will smell the potion and tell us what you smell. This is to see if you brewed your Potion correctly"

Hermione and I carried the cauldron. We placed it in front of everyone and Hermione smelled it first.

"I smell new parchment, freshly grown grass, and spearmint toothpaste" She looked away really fast and looked at her shoes nervously.

"I smell treacle tart, the woody scent of broomstick handle, and something flowery" Harry said. It was Ginny! Woah.

"I smell Mint and cologne" Liv said.

"I I- smell Beer, perfume, and the hospital" I said. I smelled Enzo.I looked down at my shoes and walked back to my table. Enzo's group was next.

"I smell chicken, beer, and books" Enzo said as he realized who it was. It was me! Oh god. I didn't even listen to the other people in his group.

After class had ended I stayed so I could ask Professor about the doubt I had.

"Professor Slughorn um I had a question" I said as he turned around to me.

"Yes yes go ahead" He said.

"Is it possible to smell 2 people in your Amortentia?" I asked. He looked rather surprised.

"Um why do you ask?" Slughorn said.

"Just a-a question" I said.

"It is possible yes" He said surprised.

Thank you" I said smiling. I walked out the classroom.

I put my books in my dorm and headed to lunch.

"So how was the Amortentia presentation?" Jake asked as I sat down.

"Pretty great" Liv said. "I smelled strawberries, fresh paint, and cookies. Who smells like that?"

"I think I know who" I said grinning. "I'm just mad. Mine was predictable"

"Well you cant rush the process" Ginny said eating her toast.

"No that's not what I mean Gin" I said shaking my head. "Never mind,"

"What's your guys' next classes?"

"I have muggle studies" I said. I loved muggle studies. I was very good at it.

"I have care of magical creatures with Liv" Ginny said munching on her 3rd toast.

"I have Charms" Jake said. "I better get going. Got to go get my books and then off to class"

"Wait me too!" I said hurrying after him. Jake was walking so fats it was pretty hard to catch up with him. I walked and then suddenly crashed into someone.

"I'm so sorry" I said sighing. Why does this always happen to me?

"Oh its ok" Enzo said wiping the water I had spilled on him.

"Enzo I'm so sorry" I said.

"Its ok!" He said. "Really its ok" I stopped and looked up at his beautiful hazel eyes. They looked back at me and froze. I had butterflies in my stomach.

"I have to get to class" I said moving my eyes away. "I'll see you later" I walked away and towards the Gryffindor common room so I could go to my dorm and get my book.

I rushed out the door and stepped into class. I was so confused about what happened earlier, that I was barely concentrating.

The day had ended and I walked alone to the Great hall for diner. Someone tapped me on my shoulder and when I turned around to see who it was, Enzo.

"Hello" I said smiling.

"Hi" Enzo said as he swung his arm around me.

"Enzo please people with get the wrong image" I said as I slipped his arm of me.

"Seriously?" He said. "Jade stop thinking about what other people think about you"

"You know that's not what I meant. But thank you that is very inspiring" I responded sarcastically.

"Again with the sarcasm" Enzo said shaking his head. "Honestly"

"Thank you very much" I said laughing. We walked into the great hall and parted ways. I walked towards Jake.

"Hi!" I said excitedly as I sat beside him.

"Hey" Jake said. "What was Enzo saying?"

"Oh he was just saying hi" I said as I picked up a sausage from the tray in front of me.

"Your ex-boyfriend was just saying hi?" He responded confused.

"We are just friends" I said as I rolled my eyes at him.

"Friends don't look at friends that way" Jake said as he continued eating.

What did Jake mean? How does Enzo look at me?

I ate my dinner silently, pondering about what Jake had said. Once I was done, I got up and went to go shower. I slipped into bed with my wet hair, the cold breeze flying, and fell asleep.
