April 2, 1998

I opened my eyes and ran to the bathroom because I was about to throw up. I tried to hold my hair back as I did. Draco heard me and helped me by holding my hair but trying not to throw up himself. 

When I was done, I washed my face and then tied my hair in a bun. I drank a glass of water but before I could gulp it down, I felt a lump coming up. I ran towards the bathroom and threw up again. 

I wiped my face and went downstairs to call up Narcissa. I thought, she would know what to do. 

"Narcissa, It's Jade," I said. 

"Hi darling, how are you?" She said. 

"I've been throwing up the entire morning," I said. "Can you help with that?"

"Yeah just drink water to keep your throat from not getting dry," She said. "That's all I can say until I know why it's happening" 

"Okay thank you so much," I said as I disconnected the line. I took a sip of water and finally calmed down a bit. Just to be sure, I called up a doctor who I saw on a flier. I booked an appointment for after lunch, today. 

Draco was going to be at the Manor all day cause he had work.

I ate toast for lunch and then changed into sweatpants and a ribbed tank top. I grabbed the keys to Draco's car and sat in the car. I pulled out of the driveway and drove to the Doctor's clinic. Once I got there, I had to take a bunch of blood tests to see what was wrong with me. After waiting for over an hour, watching tv on a hospital bed, the nurse came in. 

"Okay we took the tests, don't worry this is normal when you're expecting," The nurse said. 

"Expecting?" I said. "Expecting what" 

"Honey you're pregnant," The nurse said. I was in shock. What was happening? I'm what? "Okay breathe, breathe," I said to myself as I took deep breaths. 

"Are you okay?" The nurse asked. 

"No, I'm not okay. I'm eighteen and I'm pregnant" I said. "How sure are you?" 

"Ninety-nine percent," She said. "You're fine, Morning sickness is totally normal. You're free to go" I got up from the bed, picked up my bag, and left. I sat down in the car and tears streamed down my eyes. 

What have I done? I know it's Draco's. I'm not ready. I- WHat am I going to tell Enzo? I started breathing heavily whilst bawling in the car. What if I end up being like my mother? What if Draco doesn't want the baby right now? Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god. 

I wiped my tears and drove back home. I was thinking of ways to tell Draco. What was I going to say? You're going to be a father yay?! I'm so screwed. I mean it's not like I'm not happy, of course, I am but I'm not sure if I'm ready. I pulled into the driveway and hopped out of the car. 

"Hey, where have you been?" Draco said from the kitchen. 

"I- I was at the clinic," I said as I took my shoes off. 

"What did they say?" Draco asked. 

"Um nothing," I said. "I just ate something bad" I couldn't. I couldn't tell him. 

"Okay," He said. I went upstairs and changed into a dress. I went back downstairs and sat down on the couch beside Draco. I put my head on his shoulder while debating whether or not to tell him. 

"Draco," I said. "I'm pregnant" 

"What?" He spat. "You're pregnant?" 

"I am," I said. "If you don't want to be in its life the-"

"Jade, I want to be part," He said. "I want to, I promise" I smiled. 

"We're going to be parents," I said. 

"We are," He said. 

"I'm scared," I said. 

"We're in this together," He said kissing my forehead.
