𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙮

𝘉𝘪𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘺

I woke up with my eyes swelled from crying too much. I had a nap because I stayed up crying the whole night. Liv and Ginny were gone and I was all alone. Today was Liv's  17th birthday. We had been looking forward to this since we were knee-high. 

You see when you're seventeen in the Magical World, you're off the radar of the Ministry of Magic, you can use magic outside of Hogwarts and finally become Legal.  

I just wanted to make a quick stop and drop off a gift and then leave. It was a gift that I made myself actually. It was a scrapbook of memories, funny but stupid things she's done and said, Literally everything. 

It was now 8:15 in the night and I got out of bed to get ready. I put on a black sundress with my red heels and picked up the bag that had my present wrapped in it. 

I walked out of the dorm and towards the entrance to the shrieking shack. Yes, the party was at the shrieking shack!  But it was completely transformed. We had been renovating it secretly for the past couple of days for Liv's birthday. 

I entered the shack to find students partying, drinking, and dancing. I noticed the table full of gifts and dropped off the gift. I was walking out the door when I bumped into a familiar face. 

"I'm so sorry," I said as I picked up the fallen cup. I handed the cup to the person before glancing at who the person was. 

"Than-" Fred stopped as he realized who it was. He bumped into my shoulder purposely and walked away. I stood there for a moment and then walked out. I looked over at Liv and mouthed 'happy birthday' and then walked away. 

I ran to my room, changed, and then as I was about to go to sleep, the door swung open. 

"Hi," Fred said as he walked in. I stayed quiet. "So I'm here to talk to you. I know you messed up"

"Don't need to remind me" I muttered as I rolled my eyes. 

"As I was saying before your snarkiness, I forgive you," He said. 

"Thanks, I appreciate it I spat. "now leave" 

"Planning to," He said as he walked away. I slammed the door shut and fell asleep.
