March 17, 1998Lorenzo Berkshire's POV:
Blaise and I have never feared for someone's life like this. Jade's been missing for almost a week and we've tried to find her. This morning I woke up and went downstairs. I noticed an owl on the mailbox and I walked over to it. I opened the mailbox to reveal a letter in cream brown paper. The handwriting was elegant and was decorated nicely. I read what was inside the letter.
Dear Mr. Berkshire, Mr. Zabini,
We invite you to the marriage ceremony of our son, Draco Malfoy, and Jade Allen, daughter of Dahlia on the 23rd day of March at 12 pm.
My heart felt like it broke into a million pieces. Questions were burning through my head as I tried to process what I had read. I kept trying to read it, again and again, to make sure I didn't see Jade's name. I was speechless.
"What's that?" Blaise asked as he walked down the stairs. I handed him the letter. As he read it out loud. "She's getting married to Malfoy?"
"I don't know what's happening," I said as I tried to process everything.

March 22, 1998Jade Allen's POV:
"Wakey Wakey" Dahlia said as she woke me up. This whole week I spent trying on wedding dresses and cake.
I hated it! I mean if you had just found out your dead mother wasn't actually dead and she kidnapped you and now is getting you married at eighteen!
"Get ready your future in-laws are coming for lunch" Dahlia said as she dragged me out of bed with her magic. She also used her magic to pull out a white sundress and also pushed me into the shower.
"You look lovely," Dahlia said as she admired me in the dress. I gave her a fake smile. "Come sit, I'll fix your hair" I walked towards the 'Makeup table' and sat down. She braided my hair into two half-tie dutch braids and placed a necklace around my neck. When she was done, the doorbell rang. "I'll get that," I said as I ran down the stairs. I opened the door to reveal the Malfoys. I put on a fake smile. "Welcome" As they walked past, I removed the smile from my face. I led them to the dining room and sat down beside Narcissa Malfoy as Draco sat across me.
"So darling, Are you all packed?" Narcissa Malfoy asked me.
"Yes, Yes I am" I answered her as I plastered the fake smile on my face. We began to eat in silence. The awkward tension from the table grew stronger. Once we were done, Dahlia asked me to take Draco upstairs to my room to talk more.
"Are you ready for tomorrow?" Draco asked.
"It's funny that I used to date your best friend and now I'm getting married to you," I said.
"What's funny about it?" Draco shot.
"No it's just ironic" I answered.
"You look beautiful today," Draco said as he locked eyes with me.
"Thank you," I said as I looked away. I looked at my feet as the tension grew stronger. "Do you like reading?"
"Sometimes" He answered.
"Sorry, please sit down" I offered as he sat down on my bed. "Do you have a favorite book?"
"The Rainmaker by Josh Grisham" Draco answered. This time I smiled for real. "What's yours?"
"I don't have a particular favorite" I answered.
"Jade, Draco, Come down" Dahlia called. I walked briskly down the stairs and found The Malfoys and Dahlia in the living room.
"We should get going Dahlia," Narcissa Malfoy said as she stood up. "Draco and I have a fitting to get to"
"Oh well see you tomorrow," Dahlia said as she embraced Narcissa.
"Goodbye Darling," Narcissa said as she embraced me. I said goodbye as they left. I shut the door and let out a sigh. I ran to my room and shut the door. I sat on my bed and began to think.
If I was getting married to Enzo, I would be more than happy. Oh my god! I'm actually getting married to Draco Malfoy tomorrow. What has my life become?
