My eyes opened as I heard the banging noise from outside the cell. It was my mother.
"Good morning Love," She said as she opened the door of the cell. "Now, I'm still your mother so I'm going to let you come out of this hideous place"
"And then murder me?" I mumbled as she took of the manacles.
"No, you're going to live upstairs," She said as she held onto my wrists. Dahlia dragged me up the stairs to reveal a house. It was a modern-day house and by the view from the windows, it was in a neighborhood.
I was still wearing the gown from last night.
"This way," My mother said as she led me upstairs to a small room enough for me. It had a small bed with a dresser. "There are clothes in the dresser. Change" She walked out of the room and shut the door. I quickly searched through the dresser and pulled out a shirt and shorts. I changed and opened the door to find my mother patiently waiting for me.

"Come on, eat something" She persuaded as we both sat at a dining table. We both sat on each of the ends. The table was filled with food.
"Why are you doing this?" I asked.
"You're my daughter," She said calmly. "And I want you and I to spend time together"
"You care for me now?" I spat.
"No Jade, I've been there this whole time," Dahlia. "I've been watching over you. I've seen you and that Lorenzo, with Fred, Olivia, Ginny"
"What," I said confused.
"I know everything about you," Dahlia said. "Your strengths, your weaknesses"
"Look, Dahlia, I'm not up for having a conversation with you so I'm going to go to sleep," I said as I stood up.
"Now, where are your manners?" She said. She swayed her hand performing magic and I sat back down feeling a jolt. "And it's mum to you. Now, Eat" She swayed her arm again, and I began eating.
"There's my girl" She smiled. I was being held captive by my psycho mom and now I was being force-fed.

"Now, up to bed," Dahlia said as she swayed her arm performing magic making me walk to the room. I magically tucked myself into bed and fell asleep.
This went on for 5 days straight. On day 6, things were different.
Day 6:
I opened my eyelids as I adjusted to the light. I stretched and then got up from the bed. Dahlia decided when I could get out of my room and when I could get in so I simply waited for her to open the door.
~ ~
It's been a while since I woke up and Dahlia still hasn't opened the door. I decided to try to play with the handle to see if I could get it open. And my idea did not work at all.
"Come on Dahlia," I said as I tried to open the door and then the door swung open.
"Good morning my child" Dahlia said as she stood in front of me. "You know there's no point in trying next time"
"Good to know," I said sarcastically.
"Now, We have visitors so get ready," Dahlia said. "Chop, Chop"
Visitors? What visitors would visit my mother? I pulled out a white milkmaid dress from the dresser and then decided to shower. I fixed my hair and then I went downstairs to reveal to myself who was downstairs?
"You see the deal we are offering you is more than good," Someone said. Their voice grew louder as I walked down the stairs. I walked closer to the living room but not entering it so I could see who it was talking to my mother.
"And Draco here will be here to help you," The person said. Draco? Why was Draco's name mentioned? I decided to enter the room and all eyes were on me.
"This is my daughter Jade," Dahlia said as she indicated me to sit next to her. I completely ignored her and sat on the couch in the middle. I lifted my eyes to reveal the Malfoys. I locked eyes with Draco but looked away quickly.
"Why don't we let the children talk," Narcissa Malfoy said.
"Yes of course" Dahlia agreed. "Jade, why don't you take Draco upstairs?" I nodded my head silently as I stood up. I looked at Draco indicating him to follow me upstairs. I took him to my room and sat down on my bed as he stood up. He was wearing his black suit and was more quiet than usual.
"So why are you here?" I asked.
"Our parents have matched an alliance," Draco said.
"Okay?" I said. I didn't understand a word.
"It means we're getting married" Draco spat.
"What!" I screamed. "Married?!"
"The alliance is through us," Draco said.
"One second," I said as I ran out of the room and down the stairs to where Dahlia was.
"Did you talk?" Lucius Malfoy asked. I shot him an angry look and then turned to Dahlia.
"I am not getting married" I spat. "I'm eighteen years old"
"And so? You're old enough and it's every daughter's duty to get married" Dahlia said. "Enough is enough" She swayed her arm performing magic and I instantly sat down unable to talk.
"Now, let's get them married as soon as possible" Dahlia said.
"How about next week?" Lucius suggested and of course, my mother agreed. They talked about wedding arrangements and soon, they left. I closed my eyes and apparated to my room. I ran to my bed and burst into tears.
I didn't leave my room for the rest of the day. I just wept.
