Chapter Twenty

Ryannes POV

It's about a month since Sydney died and we are on tour with the guys. I wasn't sure I wanted to come but I eventually did. I head a knock on my door and open it to see Ashton smiling big at me! "Guess what! I talked to the manager and we are going to do a quick concert in Mattawan, MI! It's a small town close to where you said you grew up!" Ashton says happily and I barrel him in a hug. To visit where I grew up would be great and a lot of my friends from elementary and middle school might be there! We tell the others and Jordyn, Sarah, and I all celebrate. It'll be sad to not have Syd with us but I can't live in the past forever. I can't wait!

The boys are singing on a small stage in Mattawan and I'm singing right along to their song "She Looks So Perfect" and dancing to the beat. I look further into the crowd and see someone I recognize. "S-s-Sarah! It's him! He's here! We have to go before he sees me!" I tell her quickly and she sees him too and tells Jordyn. We leave quickly and I decide I'll text Ash when we get back to the hotel. Sarah is at the wheel of the car and I here her mutter something under her breath. "What is it?" I ask. "We got a follower." She tells me and I look behind to see that she's right! The same black jeep has been following us since we left. "Sh*t do you think it's him?" I ask. "Yah I do." Sarah tells me. We pull into the hotel parking lot and walk toward the hotel trying to act like everything's normal. The black jeep continues down the road. He's gone. We go up to the hotel room and Jordyn tells me we need more ice. "I'll get it." I say and walk out to get some. I turn the corner toward the ice machine when suddenly someone grabs my waist and covers my mouth. The person pulls me into a supply closet and I can finally see who it is. "Johnny?! What the h*ll? Let me go!" I demand but Johnny just chuckles. "I knew you'd be with him! But you see, Ryanne, we are meant to be so you can't distract yourself with this little toy forever! You broke up with me to make Sarah feel better! That's stupid! You know you want me." He says and puts him hand on my leg but I swat it away. "Stop! I told you! We are not meant to be! Now please leave me alone! Th-the last time I saw you I didn't recover for two weeks." I stutter. "Well that's not my problem! It won't have to happen again if you are with me!" He explains. "Johnny, just go! I will never be with you! You hurt me! I'm glad I dumped you! Your an abusive psychopath!" I yell at him and open the door. He grabs my wrist and looks me straight in the eye. "I will not be with out you anymore! One way or another."
