Chapter Twenty-Three

Sarah's POV

I go to answer a knock at the door and it's Johnny in a police outfit. "Your little slut isn't here so no stripper needed! Oh and ps GROSS!" I say and slam the door in his face. He knocks again. "What do you want?" I ask. "I never loved Ryanne! As soon as I became a cop I knew my first arrest would be Ryanne! I knew all of her secrets and your right she's a slutty b*tch! I arrested her and they put her in a mental asylum. She has a prison sentence for 10 years." He tells me. "Why do you think I care?" I ask. "Well it's for smuggling pot and there's something else." Johnny adds. "What?!" I demand. "They think she killed Sydney." He tells me. "What? No! She's awful and evil but she wouldn't kill her sister....would she?" I ask. "They think she got high and did it! Sydney was killed by drugs and poison! Both signs point to Ryanne." He tells me. "Oh my gosh! She's the worst person alive and she can rot in h•ll for all I care!" I demand and once again slam the door in Johnny's face! I tell everyone about what he told me and Jordyn tells me she wasn't surprised. It takes a while for me to recover from the news but I do eventually!

Later I go alone to visit Ryanne without telling anyone and she is sitting on a bed staring at a wall. "What do you want? Here to accuse me of murder?" She asks without looking at me. "I just want to know if the accusations are true! Ryanne we've been friends forever you can tell me the truth and I won't get you into trouble! I want you back with me at the hotel laughing and gossiping like normal!" I lie! I don't give a crap what happens to her but if she buys it I will know the truth. "The pot is true but I know you could smell it on me. The murder accusation...honestly I don't know....everything that happened right before I lost her is a blur! I can't really remember anything but stress drinking and smoking! I don't know maybe I did! But why I don't get! I love Sydney even now when she's gone!" She tells me. "Wow! If you did I'd assume it's out of love! Like putting her out of her misery!" I say. "Wait don't they have security cameras in the hospital?" I ask. "No they somehow got disabled right before she died! They said it wasn't tampered with but they were old so they just stopped working! Shame for syd....." She trails off into deep thought. I leave the room and Johnny is outside. "What did she say?" He asks. "She thinks she did it! She was drinking and smoking and says she can't remember anything after." I say and push past him leaving the station. Ryanne maybe several things but I never thought of her as a killer. I feel like I'm in Pretty Little Liars! Ex best friend is a possible killer! Let's just hope I'm wrong!
