■ 02: 5 tall boys ■

──────────── Ki Chul's POV ────────────

After sitting in two boring periods, its finally recess time!

"Ki Chul, could wait for me? I'll just talk to one of my friends" Ryujin told. I nodded before she went off to another girl.

She came back and I asked, "Who was that? You guys seem close."

"Oh, she's Yuna, one of my bestfriends. I'll introduce you to her later at lunch break. Now, I'll show you around the school" she replied before having the tour.

Once she showed me most of the places here, we stopped by some lockers to take a short rest.

"This school is so big!" I exclaimed to which she chuckled.

"Hey, I have been wondering" I started. "Have we...met before? Its just that you seem so familiar."

"I was gonna say the same thing. But I don't know, I'm not sure yet" she replied, trying to just shrug it off.

Just then, we heard some squeals on the other end of the corridor. We turn our heads to the noise, and we can see girls swarming around a certain. 5 tall boys? I turn back to Ryujin who just heaved a sigh while rolling her eyes.

"Who are they?" I asked.

"Do you really wanna know?" she questioned. I was confused for a sec, but still said yes.

Ryujin sighed before starting, "They're TXT, the schools heartthrobs. They've been friends since forever, and are really popular here. See that tall blue-haired guy? That's Soobin. You can say he's their leader. The other tall one next to Soobin is Kai or Huening Kai, which ever works. Its funny how he's the second tallest when he is actually the youngest. That other black-haired guy is Beomgyu. He may seem cold, but once you get to know him, he could get annoyingly energetic. The pink-haired guy is Yeonjun. he is actually the eldest, but acts like the youngest. I feel like that's the reason why Soobin is the leader, and not him. Lastly, the blondie over there is Taehyun. They're all pabo except for him."

It took me a while to process everything. It was a lot for me. But then, I noticed something.

"Can I ask? Why do you seem so mad at them? Also, how do you know their personalities really well? Were friends you with them or something?"

"You really sound like a detective right now?" Ryujin chuckled.

"I know. I'll probably take law in collage" I replied sarcastically while flipping my hair.

"Well, you can say that we used to be friends. Not like bestfriends; we know each other, but we weren't that close. That is until I lost my trust in them."

"Why? What happened?"

And just then, the bell rang indicating the end of recess. 'What a great way to ruin the moment.' 

"I'll tell you later" she giggled when she saw my disappointed face from the bell. Then we started walking back to our classroom.

As we took our seats, I look towards the corridor and see a certain group passing by; the group we were just talking about a few minutes ago. I noticed that two of the five entered our classroom. 'I guess I'm classmates with them. Why didn't I notice them earlier?'

One of them is Beomgyu. I must admit, he is good-looking, but he also seem cold. I don't think we would get along well anytime soon. The other one is Huening Kai? Kai? Whatever. He actually seem so lively and bubbly, opposite of Beomgyu. But, who knows what he's hiding behind that mask.

If Ryujin doesn't trust them, I won't as well until I find out why.

Until I find a good reason to trust them.
