Another Friday came and Ki Chul walks her way to their secret garden. Normally, she would just meet Beomgyu in the parking lot to have a ride for their training. But for today, the male asked her to go to the garden first.

So here she is, pushing through the door and walked toward the said male who was standing by the bridge, hands behind his back. "Hey, Gyu" she softly said as he looked at her way.

"Hey, thanks for coming"

"I mean, where else would I go? You're my only ride to your house" they both chuckled.

"I just wanted to give you something before we go" he said before showing his hands in which he was holding a small box. He opened it to reveal a simple dainty bracelet with a few jewels around it.

Ki Chul gasped. "Beomgyu, you didn't have to. Is there anything special today that I'm missing? I'm sorry, I didn't get you anything..."

Beomgyu just chuckled while shaking his head. "You don't have to apologize, sunshine. I was supposed to give you this during our first date, but I forgot until Kai gave Yuna her necklace last week. I thought that this would be a good time to give it to you. And besides..." he trailed as he took out the bracelet and held Ki Chul's hand to wear it on her. He brought her hand closer to his lips before gazing back to the girl's eyes. "...everyday being with you is special to me."

Ki Chul was already a full on tomato in front of the male. She chuckled off her beating heart and playfully hit Beomgyu's shoulder. "Geez, you're getting more and more cheesy every single day. And what's with that 'sunshine' nickname??"

"Well, you like stars. But to me, you shine brighter than all the stars in the universe even the sun." he said as he gave her a cocky smile.

Meanwhile, Ki Chul just stood there with her face being full of disbelief. "Alright, I think you should stop asking for flirting advice from Yeonjun, honey"

"Oh ho, and now you're calling me 'honey'?" he teased while Ki Chul widened her eyes and went back to her flushed state.

"Shut up, it just slipped out"

Beomgyu simply chuckled before hold Ki Chul's hand again. "Promise me you won't take this off?" he said, pertaining to the bracelet.

Ki Chul looked at him skeptically but also playfully. "Why? Is this your way of marking me that I am yours?" she teased, expecting a comeback from him, but to her dismay he simply smiled and looked at her almost desperately.

"Just... promise me. Please"

Ki Chul was now worried 'What got him so worked up?'. But she decided not to pry it. "Okay, I promise."

Meanwhile, on the other side of their world, a man stood in front of a teenage boy and few more men while pinching the bridge of his nose.

"How long more do we have to wait, Dan? I'm starting to get impatient" he asked. And yep, you guessed it right folks. The man is Kim Kang-Dae.

"We're trying, sir. But it seems like our many attempts are going down the drain."

Kang-Dae raised his brow. "You mean that one time you tried to kidnap her and end up being beat up by three other people from that stupid organization?"

"We just can't get the right timing, boss. She's being surrounded by people every single second of her life. We can't afford to get caught"

Kang-Dae sighed and looked at one of the men inside, who was actually their intel. "What's her next agenda?"

The man in question looked through his device. "It seems like she is planning to hang-out with her group of girl friends at a diner this Sunday"

Dan then raised his hand. "If I may suggest sir, I think I have the perfect plan. But we will need everyone in this room for it to work."

Kang-Dae looked at him, intrigued. "Go on, Dan. Just make sure that you will not fail me again this time."

welp, here we go. kind of a filler chapter. i was actually supposed to make beomgyu give the bracelet to ki chul on their first date, but i forgot. which actually kinda works out for me because at least now, i get to give you guys a glimpse at where the KDs have been all this time. gotta say, im really excited for the next chapter, heh.
