faint ; tomorrow x together

■ 08: who are you guys? ■

───── No One's POV ─────

Its now two days later, and it is now their last and least favorite subject; Science. Their teacher, Ms. Lim steps inside the classroom and everyone immediately settles down.

"Class, listen up! Today, we will discuss and start your project this semester" she announced, then there was a mix of reactions from the class; of course 90% of them would be groaning.

"Cutting to the chase, you will create a research paper about any topic of your choice. It can be of any branch of science and any type of research. You're already in senior high, so I expect that you already know the parts of a research paper. I hope you make a great effort in this one because, in the second semester, your project is a presentation of your paper. Lastly, it is not an individual task, you will be in pairs of two..."

Just that last sentence alone made the class go in chaos, trying to see who they will be paired with. But then-

"Class, quiet down! I already have a list of pairs with me". Then everyone groans again.

"Yang Jungwon and Kim Sunoo, Yeh Shuhua and Kim Minjeong, Jang Wonyoung and Shin Ryujin..." The list goes on with a few hi-fiving each other and a few despising each other. Then it came to the last two pairs.

"Kai Kamal Huening and Shin Yuna, then Choi Beomgyu and Kim Ki Chul"

Ryujin, Yuna, and Ki Chul widened their eyes at the last pairing as they panickily look at each other.

"But miss-"

"No buts, girls. You will have to work with your partner accordingly. Fix whatever problem you have"

Ryujin silently graons while Yuna and Ki Chul mouth 'sorry' to her.

"Now, go to your partner and start planning" Ms. Lim announced before the class slightly goes in chaos again. Ki Chul walks and hesitantly takes the seat next to Beomgyu. There was an awkward silence at first before Beomgyu decides to break it. 

"So, I guess we're partners for the whole year"

"yeah... so... have any topic in mind?" Ki Chul asked slowly to not bring back the awkwardness, but Beomgyu just shook his head. Just then did she get an idea. 'This is my chance'  she thought.

"How about we write down whatever we can think of for now, then talk more about it later at your house?"
