My new life(Piper McLean and Avengers Crossover)

Chapter 14

Wanda's POV

So far these new kids had kicked our butts, but then lost three members. Obviously we didn't continue with the last activity, but we used the time to try and track down the missing teens. I was trying to cook with Vision in the kitchen when I heard the youngest of the group walk in and start crying. She didn't see us, but I knew she needed help. I nodded to Vision and he floated through the wall sensing that this was something I needed to do. 

"Hey are you ok?"

"Obviously not. Sorry I didn't mean to snap. It's just my boyfriend was one of the ones that was taken, and my brothers boyfriend was also taken. So now I don't have the two main people I lean on for support because ones missing and ones trying to find the ones who are missing. I've started talking to Loki and I really trust him, but I'm scared in a way he can't imagine. I'm hurting in ways no one else knows. No one has lost the people I have, and no one knows how scared I am to lose anyone else."

"I do. I lost my family. (A/N: Ultron never happened like it did in the movie.) My brother and I  used to work for HYDRA. After our parents and younger sister were killed, we joined them in hopes of getting revenge. The avengers helped us get out when we were on a mission and away from them. Ever since we've been helping them take down HYDRA. That's actually where my brother is now. He is with James Barnes taking down a small base in Lithuania. And I am constantly worried that he will not return."

"I guess you do. I lost my mother in Alaska, there was a cave in. Then my first love thought I abandoned him, he died too. My father was never around, I've only met him twice. Nico is only my half-brother, but he's gone through the same. He lost his mother in a hotel explosion and his sister in a electrical accident. He has met dad more than me though."

"Maybe I can help you, we can help each other."

"I'd like that"

We continued to talk until Nico came in and grabbed her away. Apparently they have a lead. I was about to follow, when I felt a breeze coming in from the window. That was odd because the day was still. Prepared for the worst, I go to the window and stop dead. I jumped out the window and ran to my brother. Sergeant Barnes was heading inside, but I stopped him with my powers.

"Before you go inside, I must catch you up on what has happened since you left."

I spent the next 30 minutes covering everything that happened. I only used the barest details, but that only left more questions.

"Ok I have a couple questions," most were from Bucky, "one who beat Steve, two do you have a video of it, two point five if so can I please watch it, three who are these kids, four can I fight them, five who are the bad guys, six how did so much happen while we were gone?"

"One Tony, two yes, two point five of course, three we aren't sure but Nat trusts them so that's good enough for me, four I'm sure a couple would spar with you, five Nat and the kids seem to know but haven't told us yet, six we're the avengers the world starts imploding on a regular basis for us."

"Cool can I get food now?" My brother hadn't changed at all, I laughed and pulled him up. We all went into the kitchen and saw it completely ransacked. Most non perishable food items were gone. It looked like someone had hurriedly packed for a long trip. I ran down the hall Hazel and Nico had taken and saw Piper and Annabeth talking nervously. I didn't want to interrupt, but I couldn't help myself.

"What's going on?"

Piper's POV

"What's going on?"

Wanda walked in on Annabeth and me trying to track Hazel and Nico. How am I supposed to tell her that we are now missing two more demigods? Luckily Annabeth answers for me.

"Not sure, but can you send Nat in here if you see her. Tell her it's a code rich death."

Wanda looked super confused, but let it slide. She ran off, hopefully to find Nat, and Annabeth and I went back to the tracking screens. No matter where we looked, we couldn't find a trace of anyone who is missing. It was driving me crazy, but it was driving Annabeth even more crazy. She's the type of person who needs answers. Before she could blow a fuse staring at the screen, Nat walked in.

"Wanda said it was a code rich death? But she also told me something else that was interesting. Apparently the kitchen was ransacked and most non perishable food items were taken. Also about 45 minutes ago she was talking to Hazel and Nico ran in saying they had a lead. So I don't think this was a kidnapping."

"No your right, I think they went after them alone. αυτοί οι ηλίθιοι what were they thinking?"

I pulled out my phone and texted Hazel, Nat and Annabeth were still debating where they could have gone and what they could have seen.

P: Hey are you ok? What did Nico find? Where are you?

H: I'm ok. He found a possible answer. I can't tell you. Also don't try and trace the phone, Leo made them untraceable. Not even he could break his own coding.

P: Ok, but please don't do anything stupid and call for backup if needed.

H: I will. Can you do me a favor? Help Loki. He was under mind control when he attacked New York and he really needs people.

P: Of course stay safe

H: No promises

I look up and saw Nat and Annabeth staring at me questioningly. I sighed and gave them the phone to read. They nodded and went back to searching. I went to go keep my promise.

Loki's POV

"Are you ok?"

"I will be, thanks for letting me know."

"Of course, if you ever need anything just let me know."

"I will."

Piper left and I was alone with my thoughts. But one thought just kept coming back. I kept spelling out my predicament. I'd been freed from the mind control. The only person who trusted me was now lost with her brother. They left after their boyfriends were taken. I was alone again. Now my only hope is to help them to save their friends, before they all disappear.

Also wattpad is being weird and not letting me embed a YouTube link at the top so I just wanted to say go look up Legends Never Die endgame. Hardigun did an amazing job with it and you should all go watch it. Also the infinity war one is amazing as well. I'm going to try and update at least once more this week. And since the rest of this story is mapped out, I've started thinking of a sequel. I will give you more info on that closer to the end of this story.
