Chapter 6

Trigger Warning: mentions of self harm

Piper's POV

How do you plan a demigod vs. avengers war games? Like seriously someone should make a manual for it. And there should definitely be a chapter on how to lie to all of them, demigods and avengers, about how your doing. There just needs to be a giant demigod and avenger handbook. I started banging my head against the table, for the fifth time in the past 5 minutes. That gave me an awful idea, but it always cleared my mind. I grabbed my knife from under my pillow and sat on my bed. I took a deep breath, and freed my mind.

It felt good. I know it's bad, but I felt liberated. I imagined my worries flowing out with the blood. It cleared my mind, yet also made it more cluttered. Added guilt to the rest of the emotions flowing around in my head. I grabbed some bandages, ambrosia, and nectar. After a quick healing job I got back to work. Making a list of everything I wanted to happen in each game.

Capture the flag: Demigods=blue, Avengers=red. (Percy would kill me if we weren't blue). Camp half-blood rules; flags must be visible from 10 feet away, no serious maiming, no killing. Annabeth and Bruce as team captains, (children of Athena are competitive against each other in their own way). Boundaries are the property, split by the compound.

Hide and Seek: Inside the compound, but the demigods get Monday to explore both the compound and the property surrounding it so the avengers won't get to much of an advantage. Reyna will be the first seeker yet won't hide. Winners will be the person who gets found last the most times and the seeker who found everyone the fastest. 

Laser tag: basically the same as capture the flag, but without the flags.

Individual fights: bracket style. Will be made after hide and seek once I know everyone's powers more.

Full 10v10 fight: same rules as capture the flag and laser tag, but without flags or laser tag guns. And without the property split.

That's gave me enough to send to Annabeth, so I whipped out my phone and sent her a quick picture of my notes

P: Hey these are my thoughts for the "war games" what do you think?

A: Pretty good. I'd add something about how in hide and seek the winners get a prize so we don't have people trying to purposely help their teammates.

P: Ooh good idea. 

P: There I added it, thanks! 😊

A: Looks great!

P: So I'm headed up to the compound tomorrow, do you want to meet me there early? It will give us a chance to scope the place out and come up with strategies. And none of the avengers can accuse us of cheating because they know the place way better than we do.

A: Yes! I'm so down. Also can I please fight Natasha?

P: Sure, I'll make sure you guys fight.

A: I can't wait to kick her butt 

P: I can't wait to watch that. Also can you bring me some of my stuff from cabin 10, and some nectar/ambrosia when you come. I didn't expect to be away this long😂

A:😂of course. But why do you need Nectar and Ambrosia? No way you've needed that much.

P: I was in a very serious car wreck, I took as much as I could as often as I could. Only reason I didn't die.

A: I forgot about that, I'm sorry Pipes. I'll give you a huge hug as soon as I see you.

P: Thanks. I can't wait!

A: Me neither!

A/N: Sorry this was so short. I didn't want to put the "war games" right after they were announced so this was kind of a filler chapter. There will be one more chapter, between 500-1500 words, before that so hopefully those will be up soon. I've already started writing both I just really needed to post😂.
