My new life(Piper McLean and Avengers Crossover)

Chapter 9

So I guess that I screwed up and didn't write a chapter 9. So here is a short little chapter just for fun. This is what was going on with the Lithuania mission. I'd read 1-8 then 10-whatever I have posted at the time before reading this though. But hey it's your choice.

Bucky's POV

Fury had decided Steve wasn't needed on this mission, so it was just me and the speedster. The base was small. No more than 50 agents and 10 scientists. Plus an unidentifiable individual who seemed to be their most recent experiment. That mad both of us sick. We crouched in the bushes and waited for our opening. 

Five minutes later the guards changed their watches. We snuck in through a side door and made our way to the cell unit. Inside was a small girl. She couldn't be more than 12. HYDRA had definitely taken a toll on her though. She looked like she hadn't eaten in weeks, and there were scars all over her body. All she was wearing was a small sack dress that she seemed to have made herself from the sheet on her bed. There were fresh wounds too. Burn marks and cuts covered her arms and legs. Her head was shaved and she wouldn't meet our eyes, or even look up, so I couldn't tell her eye color. Pietro seemed to maybe recognize her, but he shook it off.

We broke open her cell and he grabbed her. He picked her up and ran out the the jet. He appeared at my side again in a moment. Then everything went nuts. We started taking down guards. Eventually I made it to the lab. I grabbed the files and anything that looked important then tossed a couple grenades. The lab blew up while Pietro and I ran. He nodded as we got on the jet. Just before we took off, the lab blew up. Pietro had been planting explosives while I was in the lab.

We flew to SHIELD headquarters, the new SHIELD not the HYDRA infested cesspool. We dropped off the girl and the stuff I found in the lab, then we headed back to the compound.
