My new life(Piper McLean and Avengers Crossover)

Chapter 4

Piper's POV

Time skip til Piper's healed cause I'm lazy. Its about 3 weeks for refrence.

Even though I'd had time to grieve, it was still hard. It was hard to convince myself to get out of bed everyday, I could barely even eat. I was never hungry, and never tired. I ate enough to keep myself alive, and slept cause I had nothing else to do. Laura tried to make it better, but there was only so much she could do. And now I was moving to her families farm. I was going to meet her family. 

She told me that there was no way they wouldn't love me, but I was still nervous. I loved kids, but I was barely keeping myself alive. I don't think I'll be a good influence on them. Especially if they saw my scars. I had plenty of scars from my demigoding, but I've added some new ones these past few weeks that I don't really want to explain. 

That is just another secret I have. None of the Barton's know I'm a demigod, even though I know Clint is a son of Apollo. He's a legend at Camp Half-Blood, the fact that he manabed to keep his demigod secret, become famous, and fight off monsters attacking SHIELD because of his technology use there. Uh-Maze-Ing. A few other avengers are demigods too, but Clint is definitely the camps favorite. Leo did send Clint some monster blocking potion that he and the hecate camoers whipped up. It allows Demigods to use technology. He got a thank you note for that, and everyone back at camp thought it was the coolest thing ever.

Calypso called me and told me she was nervous Leo would leave her because everyone at camp thought he was the greatest. I assured her he was head over heels for her, and that if he did leave her I would literally kill him. Apparently I was on speaker phone, and Leo walked in on me saying, "call me again if he ends up doing so, he will wish he was stuck on Ogygia by himself if I get my hands on him." He squeaked and Calypso and I assured him that he hadn't messed up that bad... yet.

That was one of the only good things about these past weeks. That call happened before news got around to campof my dads death. I haven't accepted any calls since then, unless it was Jason. Between him and Laura keeping my secrets secret has been hard. I wish I could just go to camp, but I'd still have people fawning over me 24/7. 

Anyways, Laura and I are leaving to go to the farm(Geez it sounds like they died 😂) and I'm terrified. I'm not telling clint abt me being a demigod, I'm not telling anybody about how broken I am, and there is a very good chance Natasha will be there when I arrive. I have two major secrets and I'm going to a place full of people trained to find that stuff out. After all, the Barton farm is where the avengers go to get out of the spotlight.

Clint's POV

Laura and Piper are arriving today. I feel like I recognize the name Piper McLean, and not just from the news. I've had that feeling for a while, but it's probably nothing. She might be a demigod who went on a quest recently, but I'm really behind on all that news. The only thing I've heard recently was the New York attack. Chiron updated me on that so I could feed SHIELD lies so they wouldn't find out about our world. Also the monster potion, that was life saving. I'm actually going to head to camp and thank the kid who made it in person in about two weeks. I just need to help Laura get Piper settled here first.

They are actually landing right ablut now, and should arrive at the house in a hour and a half. Currently Nat and I are trying to get the house cleaned and some food on the table for when they get here. The kids are outside playing baseball, but every 5-20 minutes theres some fight that Nat or I needs to resolve.

"Clint," Nat broke the silence as we cleaned the living room, "I recognize her name, Piper McLean. I think she's a demigod."

"I recognize it too, but I wasn't sure from where."
