Chapter 35 When it comes to you

Hi hi hiiiiiii.  I wasn't planning on writing today, but welp here we are(I wrote this line weeks ago uhh). Also a POV chapter from a side character?! Crazy Right? If I portray them wrong my friend is gonna destroy me XD so if I die you know why. Kris is walking on egg shells out here. (OH! And I just reread my whole story cuz am I feel much more enlightened now I think continuing will be easier from here on out!)

Marie POV:

     (for refresher refer back Chapter 31 'Opportunity') Jess checked her watch, "It's been an hour since she said she was on her way. Do you think something happened or is this one of those 'I'm on my way but I haven't actually left yet' kind of things?" 

     Taehyung unlocked and locked Y/n's left phone again. The spam number had finally stopped dialing, but the amount of missed calls from it was kind of a lot.  In a puppy dog whine he asked, "Can we go out to look for her? She was walking by herself, and we still have her phone."

     I bit my lip with a bad feeling, "I'm sure she's fine, but it doesn't hurt to look.  Maybe some of us stay here and we break into groups to find her?" I offered.

     "Sounds good to me" JHope added. "Suga and I can stay here incase she comes back, and We'll leave the searching to you guys"

     "Okay sure, settled then, lets go!" Taehyung shouted pulling everyone out the door.  He was bouncing anxiously urging us to pick up the pace.  

     "Call us if she gets here before us then!" I added to Suga and Jhope before being dragged out the door.  They nodded in response.

     "Will do!"

     "We checked every corner of the library, and we didn't see her on our way here."  Jimin sighed,  "You don't think something happened right?" He was fiddling with his light jacket.  The weather wasn't particularly warm out to be walking the streets on Chicago at one in the morning.

     I tried to give a comforting smile, "I'm sure she just got caught up talking to someone. Maybe bought a midnight snack or something? Heh, you know Y/n."  I wasn't liking the situation either.  Darn it Y/n where did you go? 

   "I guess it's possible, It hasn't been that long since we saw her, so I don't know."  Jess was constantly checking her phone from a message from the others.  Her eyes lit up to see a caller, but she raised a brow of confusion looking further.  "Tiffany is calling me at 1am?"  She quickly picked up to answer. We anxiously waited for Jess to finish.

     "Did something happen?" Jess spoke sympathedicaly.  "I don't understand what you mean, where are you now?"

     "What's she saying?" I poked, but Jess shushed me.

     "We're at the library, we're looking for Y/n she said she'd be back a while ago, where are you?" Jess nodded and continued talking.

     "We want to know the tea!" Jimin added. She put up a finger to signal one second. Before she continued.

     "Okay, yea meet us here, Alright, call when you're close bye."

     Jimin and I's eyes locked onto Jess.  "Why did she call you? Does she know where Y/n is?"  I inquired

    Jess bit her lip, "She said she got in another argument with that guy again and wants to stay at our place.  Apparently, she said she doesn't trust him anymore.  I'm not really sure why, but it sounded like she was upset."

     We both nodded in agreement.  "Alright, we'll stay in this general area until she comes then.  Can't say I'm a fan of this friend of hers by the way she talks about him.  Kind of sounds concerning."
