Jungkooks POV:
"Right, whatever you say Jimin." I rolled my eyes at Jimins comment, while continuing to flip the burgers on the grill. We wanted to have a cookout party for the Fourth of July, so we were all outside enjoying the scorching sunny day.
Jimin smirked while grabbing a second spatula to poke at the meat. "I'm telling you, you're being different lately. You even complemented my shirt today! You never complement me!" He whined.
I smiled, "mhmm, oh yea I'm totally off, I'm usually just incredibly rude to you aren't I?" The Patty's and hot dogs had been cooking for a while and they were almost ready to be served.
Jimin laughed, "Kookie, nooo that's not what I was saying!" He lightly pushed me, as I scooped up the food onto a serving plate. RM approached next to us.
"I'll bring it over, everyone is getting pretty hungry." Namjoon offered.
"Oh, thanks man," I smiled as he took the plate away. I turned to Jimin, "I'm just trying to be on Namjoons level when it comes to niceness. That's all." Jimin put his spatula down, and we followed behind.
"Ahh, whatever you say Kookie."

We arrived back towards the red picnic tables to see everyone waiting at their seats. I took a seat next to Y/n who was patiently waiting with a paper plate. Fork and spoon in her hand. "I'm excited, Chef Kookie has promised a spectacular meal. I expect to see no less than perfect on this plate." She smiled proudly pointing to the plate in front of her.
"I did my best, I hope it's up to your standards your majesty" I joked while bowing my head a bit.
Marie had started passing around the food around, "From what I saw, Jungkook looked like he was really trying hard on these. I too expect great things." She added.
