Y/N Pov:
"Can we borrow your phone, please?" I put on my most innocent face. The stranger in the 7/11 gave me and Jungkook wide eyes seeing the condition we were in. "It's an emergency." He hesitantly nodded as he handed me the phone.
After some crummy explaining, and a flustered phone call. The police said they were on their way. The man who's phone we borrowed didn't seem to mind how much time it was taking.
"Are you guys okay?" The stranger asked, overhearing the phone call.
"Heh, nothing a little therapy can't fix." I joked, but the man didn't laugh. "I'll just text my sister to come pick us up and we'll be on our way...Again, thank you so much!" I got an instant response from Marie.
MESSAGES
Y/N: "Can you pick Jungkook and I up from the location I just sent you. This is Y/N by the way.
Marie: "PICK YOU UP?! I CALLED THE POLICE BECAUSE YOU DISAPPEARED! Where have you been? What the heck Y/N, everyone's been worried sick."
Y/N: "It's a long story, can you just come here first?"
Marie: "Whatever, omw" (read)

"I guess we'll wait here til then." Jungkook nodded, heading back to our original table. "I'd walk around the store, but this whole 'having a chain still stuck to your ankle' isn't doing me any favors."
I laughed looking at his foot, "Yea, but hey at least it looks kind of edgy."
"Oh, You think so? Are you saying I should keep this look?"
"Oh yea" We joked but froze when we recognized a familiar face through the window pounding his way up to front entrance of the 7/11. He was moving quite quickly, but he also looked pretty out of breath. Jungkook and I both looked to each other. "He's still out there?! I thought we lost him for sure." We both stood up and crouched back towards the farther end of the shelves. "He hasn't seen us yet though, and he still doesn't know we're here. Besides the police should be here any second." I nodded.
"Y/N?" He called before stopping at the cashier. "Hey, Have you seen two kids enter this place? A scrawny looking boy and a girl who looks like a college drop out?" James anxiously tapped his foot.
"Uh.. I'm not sure. Can you be more specific?" The worker looked surprised.
Jungkook looked to me an mouthed "scrawny?" with a look of disbelief.
"Two frazzled college students? Who looks like they hadn't showered in a while? One probably had an ankle brace around his foot. They're my younger cousins." He gruffed.
"Ankle brace? Oh! Is that what that was? Actually there were two people with that description here just a second ago, but I don't see them now.."
"Thanks.." James mumbled, before taking steps around the store. I swallowed hearing his loud foot steps approach closer. There wasn't anywhere for us to go, but at least we were in a public place now.
"Found you!" His sinister smile curled locking eyes with me and Jungkook. "You thought you could get away that easily?" He stepped closer causing us both to tremble backwards.
I swallowed, "The police are already on their way. Don't step any closer!" I bit my lip and shouted.
"Well that's irrelevant since we're going back anyways isn't it?" He smiled.
"Not a chance." Jungkook was finally free. Nothing could make me send him back to that dilapidated basement.
The next moment multiple armed offices hastily barged through the door. "Police! freeze!"
Both Jungkook's and I'd eyes instantly glanced at the sudden noise but James already made his move.
Before he could dodge, Jungkook yelped as stumbled from a dagger to his chest. "Argh"
"J-Jungkook!" My arms reached down to catch him from falling.
"It's your choice now Y/N." James sternly spoke. "Go back and save him or save yourself now."
My eyes were glued to Jungkook as he withered in pain. "Y/N...no" he coughed through a spit of blood. Seconds later, shots echoed from the direction of the police that entered as A piercing bolt dug through me.
My eyes shut and the world went black.
