Jungkook POV:
A loud thud jolted me. A scared familiar voice echoed throughout my ears. "Come on Y/n." resonated from stairway. Do I miss her so much that I just imagined it? It had been seven days since I last remember being outside. 2 weeks since I last saw her awake, and I still can't stop thinking about her. But instead I'm here in a lonely basement. At least moon light crept in from the window sill letting me not be in total darkness. My eyes have also gotten used to this lighting so seeing wasn't very difficult.
My left leg had a rusty chain around it and was fastened to a metal pole protruding from the concrete ground. My spot consisted of a ratty black carpet and small throw blanket with dogs on it. An old brown cushioned chair also was in my reach that I usually slept on. The color had faded and had dust sprinkled all over, but a cushion nonetheless. The length of the chain was about 15 feet (roughly 5 meters) which let me reach a small bathroom. The bathroom had a short sink and a standing shower. I couldn't wash my clothes, but at least I could shower. There was also a case of water that had been placed next to my chair.
The basement wreaked of water damage and most of the furniture that was down here was limited to boxes and miscellaneous objects. There was a crate of apples and processed snacks that were close enough for me to feed on, but the rest of the basement seemed to be mostly storage.
"Y/n?" I called to the direction of the loud thud. "Y/n is that you?" Even if I'm imagining it, I couldn't help from believing it was possible. Butterflies of excitement started to fill my stomach. I leaped to get a better view and abruptly halted when the chain pulled me back, but that didn't stop me from instantly recognizing the fumbling girl across the room.
I know I haven't seen anyone in a while, but seeing her now, I don't think I had ever seen any one more beautiful. My eyes were glued. Slowly, everything around us seemed to fade. My fists rubbed my eyes to double check, and each time she was still there. ungracefully mesmerizing me. Her hers locked with mine. I can't breathe. It was like we were the only two people in the entire world. The full moon reflected off of her hair like an angel lighting in the dark. My heart was going to explode. I had to gasp for air. She's here. She's really here this time. Because in that moment, nothing else mattered. Y/n was awake and here with me, and I'm not about to let someone take her away from me again.
"J-Jungkook?"
Y/n's slouching figure stumbled quickly toward me. Her feet tripped over some large chipped wood pieces. Was that always there? She muttered. The pieces spread around her seemed to fit together as a chair would. Was that from the thud? While avoiding splinters, her arms squirmed from behind her back.
"Hey! Yea, It's me! Y/n I'm right here just follow the sound of my voice!" My body kept yanking on the leash I was bound to, but I couldn't get any closer. Chain rattle noises echoed. She made out inaudible sounds and continued to pull until an old rope fell from behind her back. With her hands now available she hastily worked to remove the other two ropes that loosely clung around her waste and legs.
Everything was a bad sign. The ropes, her stumbling manner, my mind wasn't grasping the situation. "Wait How-"
Finally mobile and almost crawling, Y/n dashed towards me. Once she was in my reach, my arms enveloped her trembling body. Caressing her shaking self it hit me. Y/n, isn't here by choice.
