Jungkooks POV:
I dropped what I was holding expecting to feel pain. I heard the handle of my red umbrella clash on the ground. Scrunching my face, trying to brace the mysterious man's attack. But I felt nothing. My stomach felt no harm. In fact, there seemed to be no man anywhere in sight. Studying my surrounds, I found we were outside the cafe again. The doors that led out to the pouring rain stood right infront of me waiting to be opened. My hands curled into fists as I rubbed my brown eyes to make sure I wasn't imagining things. How could I be here? Did I imagine the whole scenario? No. Definetely not. Maybe this is a dream? No. That's not it either. It felt too real. I look over at Y/n who looked like she'd seen a ghost. Suddenly, she snapped out of her trance still clutching lightly to the black jacket I was wearing.
Still confused, I took a closer look at what was going on around me. People were passing by. Distant laughing and the heavy rain clouded the noise in the room. Scents of Panda Express and Subway took over my nostrils again. This was definetly the student building. And oddly enough. The umbrella wasn't even wet. If we teleported why would everything be dry all of the sudden? Did 10 minutes ago even happen?
After regaining thought, Y/n grabbed my arm harder and started pulling me deeper into the large building. There was a lot of students on campus, so the cafe at our university was connected to multiple other mini take out places. All with seating outside their door. "Okay, Jungkook. I know what I'm saying is going to sound crazy, but I dont have much time. Whatever you do, don't walk south of here. Okay? Promise me." She had a begging look in her eyes. They pleaded for me to listen.
Is she not concerned about the fact that we instantly traveled to a different location? She's more concerned about a guy with a knife in the middle of the day? Maybe I'm focusing on the wrong things. Was it possible that she was the cause of this? A super natural being? That would be quite useful. Jungkook, what are you saying, you're overthinking. She just wants to avoid that guy.
I was still pretty shook from teleporting and hesitated before realizing I didn't respond. But she was already dragging me further into the building farther from the doors we just walked out of. For someone who looked so scared she sure seems determined to keep moving. Heh, not too concerned about being late for class now I guess.
Y/n was gripping my jacket tightly and raced us towards an escalator to move further into the building. "Y/n calm down, shouldn't we talk about how we just teleported?" Her desperate expression dropped to a look of fear in her eyes. Her jaw sunk.
"H-How did you remember what just happened? You're not supossed to-" She grabbed her head and dropped to the ground. Other students within the building were staring again. Beginning to whisper.
I could hear their words of "Is she okay?" and "Wasn't she that girl from before?" I'm used to getting attention but not like this.
I bent down next to her and tried to look her in the eyes. I think shes experiencing shock from the situation. "Hey, are you okay? What's happening? Talk to me, Y/n." I don't know if I'm saying the best words right now, but this scene is causing a lot of attention. Should I get help? Tell someone? If theres an angry armed man looking for me this could pose a problem later. I can't let Y/n be involved.
"Okay." She looked up at me still holding her head. "I don't have much time. Can I trust you?" Her look was serious and painful. I glanced back at a stranger slowly stepping forward with a concerned look plastered on their face. Would they stop staring already? I can't think straight.
Her words all seemed to blur together. I was more focused on the surrounds than the girl who was struggling in front of me. "Uh what? I don't think I got that?" I wasn't listening to hardly anything now.
"I'll be just fine." She grimaced and went to stand back up. She mumbled curses so herself and stared at me dead in the eye. "Whatever you do don't tell anyone." That sentence was more serious than I have yet to see from her. If I wasn't listening before, I was listening now.
"Huh, are you not feeling well again? I can take you to the wellness center" Just deal with the stares a little bit longer Jungkook. Why is she so confusing?
"No..." she looked lightheaded, and I guess for now I will just take her word and wait. I can't take it. Theres too many people around. A crowd started forming near the vestibule, trying to see what the commotion was. The noise was making me ears ring. I lifted my arm underneath Y/n's arms and we walked towards the nearest booth inside one of the take out places. A crowd wouldn't follow us here. Panning my surrounds it seems that most of the spectators seemed to have left. Sigh, "Okay, it's less loud here, can we talk now?"
I lightly shook Y/n who I still had under my arm, but she didn't say anything. "Hey, you okay? Y/n?" I examined the girl next to me, but she was fast asleep. This time snoring a little bit too. I chuckled as I leaned her head against my shoulder feeling the air going in and out of her lungs. "Heh, okay goodnight, We'll talk later I guess."
