Jungkooks POV:
Seeing the sun set, I was getting the feeling we shouldn't stay too much longer. Y/n was sitting to my left, our shoulders were barely touching. Butterflies filled my stomach when she laughed. Trying to hide my pink cheeks, I focused on the drawings on the ceiling. I started talking about Suga, but suddenly Y/n changed. Her laughter morphed into yelps of pain. The sound of her in pain pierced throughout my ears. Startled, I turned quickly to face the girl next to me.
A minute ago Y/n was sitting perfectly with her hands gently on her knees. Now, her soft hands were clenched, and her skin-like magic-formed scratches all over. I panicked at the sight wrapping my arm around protectively around her shoulders, "Y/n?! Hey, what happened are you alright?"
She blinked a few times. A sigh of relief escaped her lips, "You're okay. Thank God." Her voice was barely above a whisper, grimacing in pain as she spoke.
I felt tears forming in my eyes, "I- Y/n what's happening?" I didn't understand at all. But something in the back of my head was telling me something bad happened. And that I should remember. But I just couldn't. I can't help but feel shes hurt becasue of me.
Y/n grabbed her head and hunched over her knees. She started mumbling something about a black car. I couldn't understand her, her voice was too shaky to understand. "Call...help..." she finished before collapsing forward.
I quickly held her motionless form in my lap, "Y/n? Y/n!" I shouted frantically. This time was different than when she passed out before. Something was wrong. I tried to wake her up, but it was no use. The tears were slowly dropping. I was terrified.
A couple next to us looked quickly concerned, and called an ambulance. Tears kept streaming down my face as I hugged the her limp body. A feeling of intense guilt over came me. I didn't even know what happened, but I was feeling sick to my stomach.
The ambulance took her to the hospital, and I followed behind on my bike. Tears threatned to fall, clouding my vision while driving. It'll be okay, Jungkook. She does this sort of thing. Everything is fine. I tried to convince myself, but a sinking feeling was hanging in my chest.
Luckily, since we are in the city, the nearest hospital was a couple blocks away. I entered in a haste, and rushed to the front desk. I pleaded the receptionists for information, but they told me I was going to have to wait.
Not sure of what to do, I called Jimin. He was the only one I could think of that knew someone from her family. After a few rings I heard his voice from the other line.
"Hey, Jungkook? What's up?" He answered cheerfully.
My voice was quivering, "Something...bad happened" I could barely make out of my mouth with out clearing my throat.
Jimin sounded, instantly concerned, "Huh? Jungkook are you okay? I can't hear you that well. Did things go alright with Y/n today? Did you fight? Her sister says she doesn't have many friends-"
"I- no, S-she got hurt," I stopped again not wanting to sound weak on the phone. "I'll, I'll text you the details" and I quickly hung up the phone with out saying goodbye. I meant to just tell him, the story right there, but I was too shook up. Why can't I remember?! I swore at myself frustrated.
Opening my messages, I started typing out which hospital we were at and asked if he could pass the message to her sister. After If sent, I couldn't help but pace the waiting room. This is my fault. Something was insisting that in my brain. I just wanted it to just shut up already.
After about 15 minutes, Jimin showed up along with Y/n's sister. Jimin looked much more concerned than Marie.
The sister greeted the receptionist at the desk. They looked like they knew each already. I could see them talking and glancing in my direction. Not too long after she knelt next to me, "okay, can you explain what happened again?" She must have noticed my uneasiness because her next line was calmer. "Look, I know you're worried, but trust me, Y/n faints all the time. And does a lot of stupid things. She'll wake up soon."
I kicked the ground. "I don't think you'll believe me if I tell you. I didn't hurt her I swear. One minute she was perfect and then the next-" I bit my tounge. "The next minute she was covered in scratches and bruises. Like she was in some sort of-" My voice was getting wavy, before she cut me off.
She smiled and patted my head. "I Thought so...but that's a little worse than I thought..." She trailed off, "hey! You didn't tell anyone this story right?"
I looked at her blankly, "uh I guess just you and Jimin. But why does-"
She sighed, "Okay. Just don't. If they ask lie about it." She scanned me up and down before speaking again, "You're completely unhurt huh?" Suddenly a nurse cut into the conversation.
She greeted Marie by her first name. Then smiled to me, "You are Jungkook, right? The one who she was with? Y/ns doing just fine now." I let out a breath of relief. "Shes still asleep though, but you can visit if you want. How did she get hurt again?" Marie shot me a look, and I pursed my lips before she continued, "Was it a car accident? It looked like she fell off something that was moving. We guessed probably a bike, but can never be sure with Y/n!" She laughed awkwardly and I didn't respond, "Oh Sorry, I hope I didn't make you feel uncomfortable. I should get going then." She turned to wave to Marie and walked away.
"Thank you!" Marie shouted back
She groaned in frustration, "I bet she's right. I'm sure you must have been in pretty bad shape then too. It's kind of dangerous to time travel when you're hurt like that." She glanced around, "She did it anyways though, aish always so foolish."
I examined myself for any scratches myself but didn't see any. A motor accident? Was it my bike?
I had more questions now especially after she said time travel. I was about to ask when their friend Jess entered the reception area. "Can we see her yet?"
Jimin and Marie nodded a yep and they motioned to head to the room. I was stunned. They seemed so calm. Jess called out to me, "You coming buddy?"
"Uh yea on my way!" I shouted quickly trailing behind. I seemed to be the only one nervous here.
The door to Y/n's room was slightly cracked. By the room there was a vending machine that we stopped at. Most of it was empty and what was left was off brand. Jess laughed, "You know for future reference we have to stop hanging out at the hospital you guys. The food here is terrible."
I shook my head in disbelief, "you guys come here a lot?"
Marie sighed, "Y/n usually gets an ambulance called on her about once a month. Heh, Insurance isn't particularly happy about that. We her to stop, but she insists on trying to be a hero if she can help it." she looked down. She looked at the creaked room. "It's probably why it takes such a toll on her."
She must have realized I was lost. And just said she would tell me the details about it later. I was antsy to enter into the room though, so I was the first to open the door. My eyes instantly fell to Y/n on the white hospital bed. My heart sunk.
