Jungkooks POV

My left hand started scrolling through social media. While I wait for her to wake up I guess, I could kill some time. Online shopping deals and clothing brands littered my suggestions. Some of these do look nice. I was about to click purchase, but I thought better of it. Stop wasting money Jungkook, you know you don't need that. I decided to put the phone away for the time being and just observe what was happening around us. It's a bit chilly here. I wonder if shes cold too. Not like she could tell me while she was asleep. I carefully removed my jacket trying my best to not disturb her and gently placed it around her shoulders. "Perfect."

The food place we were outside of was a Subway and the workers were growing more curious the longer we sat here. My friend Taehyung usually works here during this time, I wonder if he is around now. Heh, or what he would say if he saw me right now. I laughed at the thought. I haven't had a girlfriend since-

Then as if on que Taehyung sneaked up behind me and shook my shoulders. "BOO!" He shouted with such excitement that a couple  waiting in line to order turned around at us. He was wearing a dark green Subway shirt and a black visor that made his hair flatten. I jolted at the surprise leaving Y/n's head to shift motionlessly towards the ground.

"Ah shoot!" I leaned down to catch her from hitting anything. I lightly caressed her hair apologizing under my breath about how I almost dropped her. After her head was in my arms I lightly placed her head back nudged up against my shoulder. I smiled at her nussled up. So calm.

Wait. Taehyung is here. Aish what a weird way to let him see me. "Hey, V. You just starting your shift?" I squeaked out as the grinning man before me held a mischievous look in his eye. I had to ask "What's with that look?" V looked excited. Very excited. Oh boy.

"Who is she? Ooo she's pretty. Is she your girlfriend Kookie?" Her moved closely to her face and poked her nose. "What's her name? Where did you meet?" V's curiosity caught me off guard.

"Uhhh. This is Y/n" I managed to get out before he interrupted me with his puppy dog energy.

"Y/n? Such a cute name! How long have you been together?" Guy was clearly amused.

I managed to cut in. "Hold on. Wait she's not my-" he interrupted me again. I was getting flustered.

"Kookie. Is she really still asleep? Oh she snores!" He went to poke her nose but I swatted his hand away. "I booped her nose twice now. Is your girlfriend even alive? Y/n? I wanna meet you!" His comment made me nervous. She told me not to do anything about what happened.

"I think shes a heavy sleeper. Probably. She looks fine to you right? You don't think I should be at the nurse right?" A shy look covered my face. "We only met just a little-"

Taehyungs smile faltered a bit. He must not have liked my response. "I was just joking Kookie. She just looks tired to me. You seem so serious, did something happen?"

I looked back at the girl on my shoulder. And spoke back to Taehyung, "I only met her today, so I don't know her that well. And if something were to happen-"

Taehyung looked disappointed. "So you don't have a girlfriend? Lame. But uh why is she sleeping like that?" This is awkward. Y/n wake up already.

"Well you see, I met her earlier in the cafe and then-" she said don't tell anyone. But Taehyung isn't just Anyone though. He's one of my best friends. I guess I should just keep it vague. "Then we were about to walk and she passed out. So, yea that's about all there is to it." I bit my cheek after hearing me talk. Why do you make everything sound so cringy. My teeth gritted at the thought.

"My shift just ended mind if I join you guys then?" He had that big grin back on his face. "Come on, I want to meet her. You never tell us about girls! Not since-" I rolled my eyes and decided it was my time to cut him off.

"Not since a while I know. I know. But trust me we are just friends. I don't even think she would even want to stay friends after todays encounter. Maybe it's for the best." Taehyung's look became blank as he playfully knocked me on the back of my head.

"You're doing that sad talk again. She'll be your friend. Watch. I'm great at these things." He crossed his arms pleased with his answer and sat down next to me. The combined movement caused Y/ns shuffle. Her nose wrinkled and rubbed her eyes. When her eyes opened and she awoke with a start.

"Where am I? How long has it been?" She jumped up from my arm confused, leaving the slight breeze coming from outside brush against my skin. She still had my jacket resting on her shoulders. It was too big for her and but it looked good anyway. Like one of those over sized hoodies.

She took a step back to see an unfamiliar face staring back at her. "You're Y/n! I've heard so much about you!" I looked back at him confused.

"You. You have?" She studied his face seeing if she recognized him. "Have we met?"

"Yea! And no...But Your Jungkook's friend!" Taehyung looked at me with I wink that said I gotchu buddy. Oh geez.

"Oh right, yea" she sheepishly looked back at the handsome man now again standing with excitement.

"I'm Kim Taehyung. I just finished my shift. I part time make sandwiches for a living. The other time? I'm kind of a super star. Just a little." He held his hands as up as wiggled his fingers making me roll my eyes.

"Really? A super star sandwich maker?" She giggled, amused by him, eager to hear more.

"Well...sort of! I do consider myself a sandwich master, but I am also working on becoming a performer. Don't worry, I'll let you have my auto graph when I'm famous." He reached to his pocket. "Oh well I don't have a pen right now but keep it in mind!" She smiled.

"Why thank you kind sir, you are also welcome to my auto graph too. Just say the word." She was very calm after talking to Taehyung. Man, she was so panicked after talking to me.

"Oh and It's 2:45 by the way." I chimed in trying to stay relevant in the conversation.

"2:45?! I was out for almost an hour?" She mumbled to herself in a barely audible tone. "That's not good." She looked frustrated but her expression calmed when she looked at the jacket hanging on her shoulders "Huh? What's this? Is this yours? I um thank you. You did a lot just now." She paused and scratched the back of her head. "You see It's nearly impossible to wake me up so having someone there was really nice of you. For an hour too? I'm really sorry, I promised the next time we hung out we would do something fun too." She kicked the ground a little embarrassed at the situation.

"Hey! I don't know about you or Jungkook, but I'm having a great time right now. Besides, This totally beats making sandwiches." His light hearted tone made her ease up a bit. I felt a little jealous at how easy he could comfort her.

I wanted to help too. "Hey, it's totally fine! Are you on your way somewhere then? Can I walk you back to your dorm at least?" She smiled at the gesture.

"Oh Thanks, but it looks like the rain stopped. The sun is also starting to peak out. I should be fine. Thank you for being so nice to me today though. I really appreciated it. I should really get going though. I can only miss so many classes because I sleep through them right?" She smiled back at us waving. "Take care you two! Please please please be careful today!" Her eyes were pleading but she was the one heading out on her own.

After my offer was declined. V looked at me with a smile still as big as ever. "She seemed cool, kind of strange, but cool. You should introduce everyone to her. They'd love to see you making friends. I'm rooting for you. Be good to her, okay?"

I ruffled my hand through my hair. Thinking about the guy somewhere outside. "I'll try V, I just don't know if that would make things worse."
