Jungkooks POV:

This isn't how I expected this day to go. I'm walking a girl to class that I met what an hour ago? It's funny, I told her I was headed this way, but I'm not even actually going in this direction. To be honest, my next class is on the other side of campus. But a walk in the rain with a girl sounds much more fun.

I looked over at her and realized her shoulder was still getting hit by the rain. "Y/n you can move closer, I don't want to hog the entire umbrella" I looked down the rain soaked street. Everything I say feels embarrassing. I gripped the umbrella tighter as she inched closer brushing against my arm. That made me nervous, I didn't mean out of the rain touching my arm close! Okay, I'm good. I'm good. I'm still holding this umbrella normally right? Act natural Jungkook keep it together.

She looked towards me "oh right thanks" we walked in silence for a few seconds when I noticed a piece of paper on the ground. It looked a little soggy from the rain, but it was still liter none the less. I held the umbrella up over Y/n while I went to pick it up. It was a flyer for three free ice cream cream cones on Saturday. The paper was decorated with pink sprinkles and purple lettering advertising how this was the greatest ice cream in the city. Greatest in the city? That's some big shoes to fill. I like adventure though.

"Oh cool maybe we could both go. Since, I found it with you here and all. It also doesn't sound all that far. Maybe a couple blocks. "

"What is it?" She went to get a closer look at now ripped paper that I was hold when suddenly a loud raspy voice shouted out.

"Jungkook! There you are I have been looking all over for you! Do you know what you have done? You're going to pay I swear?" I didn't know what he was talking about. I have never seen this man in my life. A tall man with a strong build and a wide frame towered over me as I held the umbrella. This guy scared me. I made a mistake maybe? Forgot something? I have been messing up a lot lately. Looks like now is when I'm going to pay for it.

The scary man was dressed in a long black coat and had a black hat on. He also had a black mask covering his face, so I could only make out what his eyes looked like. They looked angry and piercing. A kind of look that is beyond an angry parent yelling at their child. This was a look I have never even seen before. One that threatened punishment.

The man's deep voice got more impatient as he continued "I don't have time to deal with someone like you. I'm getting this done quickly." He rolled up his sleeve on the right arm of his coat and clenched his teeth together. His left hand turned into a fist and his hand shook.

So this guy really wants to fight? Right now? In the pouring rain? He's bigger than me, but I'm pretty strong myself. His massive coat could also be exaggerating how strong he truly Is too. I could probably take him one on one. At least deal some damage to slow him down and get away.

But Y/n is here. I can't let her get hurt or be Involved in my mistakes. Too complicated. She would wouldn't want to still be friends I'm sure. Heck, I doubt she'll be my friend after this anyways. To my surprise, while I was analyzing the situation she spoke up. "Hey, not to be that guy or anything, but we are kind of in a hurry, so if you could just please leave us alone that would be great."

She didn't look all that scared now that I look at her. Almost as if she had some sort of plan or wasn't realizing the trouble of the situation. Her arms were crossed and she seemed uninterested in hearing what the menacing looking stranger had to say. Her expression was confident. She grabbed my arm and pulled me along. "Jungkook, I think we should go."

He may just attack both of us then. I should let her get away first. That way she would be safe for sure. "Here take my umbrella you shouldn't get involved in this." I tried to get her to get out of here, but she didn't look too pleased at my answer. Why won't she leave me already? The tone of this guy is screaming bad news. She should be scared. I know I am.

The dark dressed man spoke again. "I didn't come here to waste time. Just to deal some damage." He quickly took out a knife from his pocket and leaped towards my stomach. I wasn't prepared yet. My shoulders were facing Y/n. I also had my back pack on and the umbrella in my hand. I can't dodge in time. I felt Y/n's grip on my arm tighten. She shouted something as I braced myself for the pain of the blade striking towards me.

Sup' team! I didn't mean for things to escalate this quickly but oh well! Hope you guys are enjoying so far! I'm having fun writing it. Leave a comment with your theories as to why this stranger is so angry O.o
