Chapter 30: Drama?

Thursday; 5th week of school
"Elsa!" I heard Jack yell for me. I didn't look up, I was too ashamed, maybe even embarrassed. Memories of yesterday clouded my mind. He had seen me in a way I wished no one would ever have to.

In a way that even I would have never thought I would become. Angry. Enraged. No one should ever treat my sister like that. Ever.

I quickly shake my head trying block out those angry memories.

Was it really Flynn's fault maybe Anna provoked him. Because now that I think about it I had never seen Flynn like that...

I just sat there staring at my desk while my mind wandered away, it was barely first period and everyone was either sleeping or talking, quietly waiting for the sub to come.
"Elsa?" He asked finally popping his head in front of me. I flinched back to reality and began biting my lip as I tried to look away from the too close Jack. Yeah trying to ignore his presence.

But I was never a match for Jack's influence. "Elsa." He quietly said gently turning my face towards his own. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing." I instantly say feeling the warmth of his finger tips on my chin. "Doesn't seem like nothing." He says taking a random chair and sitting in front of me the usual way guys sat, backwards.

I bit my lip once more before i finally mustered up the courage to talk.
"You saw a very unpleasant side of me." I say, the wrong words slipping through my lips, instead of biting them again, I tilted my head. "Did I?"

He smiled mischeviously at me. "Y-yeah!?" I exclaimed questioning his smile. "I wouldn't say it was unpleasant more like... Amazing." He said his eyes lighting up. "Amazing...?" I said faltering in my chair.
"Yeah, I've never seen that side of you. I'm always craving to see more sides of you (not to be creepy), and I did. The Elsa that was savagely protecting her sister. It was amazing, a power I had never seen." He said all while smiling widely.
"Really??" I say beginning to play with a piece of my hair instinctly. He smiled closing his eyes in the process, "Yup."

Jeez why is Jack always like this...The pounding in my chest, always got harder and heaver with every interaction I had with him, why is that?

I clutch my chest.
"Aren't you two flirting too early in the morning." Hiccup said pulling up a chair next to me. "We're not flirting..." I say under my breathe. But his expression quickly changed from a serious frown to his usual smile.
"I'm just kidding. But, tell me this. Why isn't the teacher here?" He asked sitting down similarly to Jack.
"Dunno, sick?" Jack answered looking bored now. "Huh, that's weird this teacher was rumored to never miss a single school day..." Hiccup said right before a sub walked in. All the students stared at him before all getting up and going to their own seat.
"Now, now students no need to go back to your original seats. You can stay sitting with your friends." The substitute said smiling somehow too sweetly.

I looked over at Hiccup and Jack who hadn't moved a single inch, they didn't have to be told twice to stay.
"Weird sub." Hiccup muttered turning back to looking at me. "I couldn't agree more." Jack said still eyeing the substitute.
"What's wrong?" I said looking at the substitute too. He seemed pretty normal. "Never mind. Anyways tell me what happened about the 'situation'." Jack said looking back.
"What 'situation'?" Hiccup asked tilting his head. I took a long breathe and then spoke all at once "Well,It turned out that the person who was spreading all the rumors has been Anna." I said steadily looking at Hiccup.

He widened his eyes. "Ohhh."
"Yesterday we talked...a lot and she promised that she would disprove all the rumors, and I mean all of them. She is so so sorry... I hope all of you can forgive her." I say flinching and closing my eyes in the process. It was silent for awhile.
