Chapter 4: New Member

As Jack and I walk into our first period I go directly to Elsa. "Good morning.” I say. She looks up at me almost shocked. "Good morning" she responds back I give her a smile and walk away to the seat I sat on yesterday.

Jack was sitting in his seat and as soon as he saw me he raises an eyebrow. "What?” I say as I look away from him to the board."...nothing" he says almost unsure. Is it that weird that I talk to Elsa? Whispers were heard from all around the classroom. As soon as the class started it already ended.

 "I don't mean to pry into your business and stuff but... What?" I look at him confused. "If you're talking about Elsa I'm just being nice.” I say. "Suuure and I’m the snow spirit!" Jack scoffs. "Jack why are you getting so mad?" I say, finally glaring at him. He looks at me and pretends to have gotten stabbed, "Ugh you got me Hiccup! It's just I'm in luuuv with Elsa." He finishes his act by looking down almost defeated. Before I could say anything he looks up. “Liked my performance" He says, as he starts to laugh.

"So you like Elsa." I state. He gave me -I've had enough of your bullshit- kind of face." I don't. She's her and I'm" he paused "I'm me" he says as he winks behind me stunning two girls behind me. "Hey is something up? You've been acting err how do I say this as to not offend you." I pretend to think, "Oh I know. A dick" I say flatly. He is getting on my last nerve. Jack just laughs and puts his arm around my neck. "Hiccup you're the one that's acting up. You're such a stick in the mud."

*Merida*
"Are ye almost done in thur" I say as I walk into the girls restroom to tell Rapunzel to hurry up. "Punzel were going to be late!" I say exasperated at the blonde. "Just one minute Merida." She says. As I walk out the restroom I hear Hiccup's voice. I impulsively hide around a corner.

 "Let go of me, Jack." Hiccup says. I hear Jack say, "Are you mad at me this time?" I look and see Hiccup narrowing his eyes at Jack. "Come on let's go we'll be late for class!" I hear Rapunzel say from behind.

 "Are ye trying to give meh a heart attack here?!" I quietly yell as I turn around to put my hands around Rapunzel's mouth. I drag her to see Hiccup and Jack, but they were already walking away.
Rapunzel pushes my hands away. "Was that Jack and Hiccup? Why didn't we say hi?" She asks. "They luked as if they were fightin'" I say. Rapunzel quietly says, "Ohhh..."
-bell rings-
"Oh SH-"
"It rang?!" I say cutting off Punzel. Both of us quickly ran to our second period. Why were they fighting?
....

-Lunch-
"I made even more new friends today guys!" Anna says cheerfully. "That's great Anna!" Rapunzel smiles genuinely. I just continue munchin' on meh sandwich. "Hey guys what's up" Jack says as he sits down next to me, "Have you seen Hiccup?" He asks nonchalantly. "Dun't ye have a class with him?" I ask.

 "Well yeah but he said he had to get something from his locker.” We all nod because that sounds like Hiccup always a busy busy bee. "Oh wait isn't that him over there" Anna points toward a 6'1 Hiccup. "Yup that's him" I say. At first he looked as if he was coming to us but he stopped.

 "What's he doing..?" Asked Rapunzel curiousness oozing out of her mouth. "Ah! Look Elsa's with him." I instinctly turn around. "What's he doing with her?" Jack beats me to that question. Jack looked....mad. Maybe the reason they were arguing was because of Elsa... "Hey guys" Hiccup says as he sits down and also gestures for Elsa to sit down. She waves to us as she sits. “OH so ye finally decided to show up Hiccup." I say flatly.

"What's up with you?" Hiccup asks. Oh shoot I didn't realize I had said that in a bad way. Play it off Merida. "What are ye talking about I'm always like dis at lunch." I say as I bite into my sandwich again. No one looked convinced but Hiccup still nodded. Screw it.

 I look over at Anna. She had a face that was mixed with happiness and sadness. "Oh shoot I forgot I had to hang out with my new friends! I'm so sorry guys, later!" Anna says as she gets up and runs off. We all look after her as she runs out of the cafeteria. "So Elsa why are you here?" Jack asks.

 We all look at Jack. Well that's rude. I look at Elsa, she was hesitating for an answer. "Because I invited her that's why." Hiccup responds for her. "Hey don't you guys feel as if were being stared at?" Rapunzel says. I see Elsa fidget in her chair. "Dun't ye think ye should be over it. They're staring at Elsa. Ye should know better than to question it." I say as I look to Elsa apologetically.

It honestly wasn't her fault she was popular, she looked so uncomfortable in the spotlight.

 "They're staring more than usual" Jack says reluctantly. "It’s probably because I'm actually with people" Elsa says quietly. "…Hey if you want you can sit with us every day" Hiccup speaks up. Elsa looks up indecisively at each and every one of our faces. Punzel nods in excitement saying, "I don't think I'll mind the staring" she looks at me and I smile an awkward smile at her. Which meant yes on my part.

Finally she looks at Jack. His face looked as indecisive as hers did. "It’s up to you Miss Popular" he finally says. "That's as close as a yes you'll get from Jack" Hiccup teases. So are they on good term or what?

Jack narrows his eyes at Hiccup and then suddenly Elsa laughs. We all look at her a bit surprised, even myself. She looks down and says “I know all of you just met yesterday and all, but you already seem like such good friends.” I smile. I mean that was a serious compliment for me… I never really had friends back in my hometown.

As suddenly as Elsa laughed Rapunzel hugged Elsa. Which was equally as shocking. I looked around our table. Jack had looked away from Elsa …Is he blushing? I look at Hiccup…and he was just smiling at Elsa…
