Chapter 26: Favor

Tuesday; 5th week of school
"Wait, can you repeat what you just said?" I ask, unconsciously raising my voice. "Shh." She whispered at me looking frantically around. I looked around with her and noticed I had brought unwanted attention to us.
"This is going to sound cliche but, we can't talk here." The girl says slightly laughing. I smiled politely at the girl's obvious yet subtle way of lightening the subject.

I nod, "After class?" She nodded and we went back to whatever we were paying attention to.

Hopefully this girl can help me so I can stop this nonsense.

~3rd period ends~

I get up from my seat slowly and carefully keeping the girl I had talked to within my line of vision.
"Come on, Elsa." Jack says questioning me with his voice as I walked too slowly out of class. I still kept looking back.
"Elsa, what are you waiting for?" Hiccup finally asked. I looked at the two with a tinge of impatience, "You guys go to class, no need to walk me to mine." I say smiling apologetically.
"You heard the lady." Hiccup says walking away and consequently dragging Jack with him. I definitely need to figure out who is spreading these horrible rumors about my kind friends...

As soon as the two were out of sight, I went up to the girl who was surrounded by her friends.
"The Queen!." They exasperated as I stood in front of them, Was i really this popular?
"Uh, Hello." I say awkwardly waving at the group, each waved back enthusiastically. "Miss Arendelle." The girl said as she detached herself from the group and walked over to me. "Can I talk to you?" I asked smiling and weirdly enough stunning the people. "Yeah... Sure." She says walking out of the class with me.
"The same topic?" She asked as soon as we were out in the hall. "Yes, I need to know." I say facing her with my cold stare. "Miss Arendelle, I'm sorry if I got your hopes up but all I know is that this person barely started this school." She says inclining her head. "A transfer student?" I ask burrowing my eyebrows. She shakes her head and says, "Honestly it could be a transfer student or a freshman."
"Are you sure you don't know anything else?" I ask sighing. "I'm sorry, but that's all I know." The girl says half smiling and nodding at me before returning to her friends.

A transfer student or freshman, that means I don't know them...or maybe I do. I shake my head.

"Flynn!" I call out as I stopped in front of him. "Elsa?" He responds as he turns away from his friends to look at me. "Oh, okay it is you." I say slightly out of breathe. But, before he could respond again his friends stepped in front of him and started circling around me.
"Well, well well, If it isn't the most popular girl in school." The Indian guy speaks threateningly. The second just glared at me. "So Miss Arendelle, how did you become so popular? Do you maybe-" He abruptly stops yet he still continues to eye me, suggesting something lewd. "Hey! Aladdin watch it!" Flynn says as he went in between us. 'Aladdin' just smacked his teeth together and nodded to the other guy, the guy reluctantly left my side and walked away with the 'Aladdin' guy. "Let's talk somewhere else." Flynn says grabbing my shoulder and leading me somewhere else. He only looked back to give his friends death glares.
"Sorry for...him. Lately he's been in the foulest mood. I just think he likes someone and that he's losing his manlyness" Flynn says sarcastically emphasizing the last word. "Yeah..."  I say as the senior lead me into the cafeteria.
"Anyways... What is it you wanted to talk about?" He asks awkwardly changing the subject. "Right, I need your help in something. Can you help me?" I ask stopping to look at the tall brunette. "A favor? Sure, what is it?" He asks stopping too. "I can't really tell the others about this but, I'm doing an investigation of who's the one that's spreading all these bad tasting rumors." I say looking around, cautious of any stray ears. "Isn't the latest rumor that they're all conspiring against you or something?" He asks. "I don't understand why." I say nodding. "I'll help investigate." He says enthusiastically. "Really?" I ask smiling relieved "What do you know." He asks.
"I know that they're either a transfer student or a freshman." I say. "Well that's not helpful."
"I know." I sigh. "I'll do what I can." He says smiling reassuringly .
"Thank you, so much." I say smiling. "No problem, Well I have to go." He says laying his hand momentarily on my head before leaving. Once he was a few steps away he looked back and began waving.
"Omg, she's friends with FLYNN." A girl squeals behind me.
"They are so cute."
"No, just friends!"
"Heeey, why."
