The Bully Affect

   >Jonathan's POV<

        Everyone has agreed to help with the project. So now I am standing behind everyone as we walk up to Mr. Smiths desk to talk to him about the project. No one is talking to him so Katie skips right up to his desk. "Hi Mr. Smith. So Jonathan had this really cool idea for the assignment. We want to do it on bullying and the different treatment different people get. The idea was, three of us transfer to one school while the other three transfer to another school. So what do you think?" She says in her perfect, flawless way.
        "I think it is a really good idea Jonathan. What were the types of people you wanted to do the project on?" He asks, scanning over all of us.
        "The reason I wanted this group is for the different types of people." Chris says. "The fit or popular kids, the insanely smart kids, and the slightly bigger kids. It is balanced and we aren't being sexist by having more guys or more girls." That is one of the cool things about Chris and Katie, they wont call us nerds, and they wont call Kim and Kyle fat. They always find nicer ways to say it that wouldn't ever make you think of it the way most kids would put it.
        "You all want to do this project? You must be aware that it will open you up to criticism or bullying. Once you go to the new school there is nothing I can do to stop them without interfering with the project, same with any teachers at the schools we move you to. The only people that can interfere are students but you can not tell them about the project. Chris, Katie, that most likely wont be a problem for you guys but it will be for the rest of you. Are you absolutely positive you want to do it?" He glances at Chris and Katie but his eyes linger on the rest of us.
        Chris throws his arms over Kim and Kyle, "Don't worry, we will make sure they don't mess with you guys to much. I will always have your guys backs."
        Katie throws her arms around me and gives me a big hug before doing the same to Ema. "Yep! One for all and all for one!" She giggles.
        "I will do it. It would be nice to make a difference and hopefully stop other kids from getting picked on for their size." Kyle says.
        "This obviously isn't some joke like I thought it was so yeah, I'm in. How bad can it be, right?" Kim says offering a slight smile.
        "I'll do it." Ema and I say at the same time. She looks down at her feet as a blush spreads across her cheeks. We all know that Katie and Chris will do it because they don't have much to worry about.
        "Okay then, its final. Go call your parents to see if they can come in today after school so that you guys can get started." Mr. Smith beams up at us after writing all our names on the paper. "And what shall we call this project?"
        We all glance around at each other before simultaneously saying, "The Bully Affect."
