>Katie's POV<
Day 3
Jonathan has a black eye and busted lip after the fight with Trevor yesterday. Trevor has a black eye, broken nose, and bruised rib... He got what he deserved. Since it was the football coach that found us though, Trevor didn't get expelled or even suspended. Instead, he gave us all detention with him for one hour after school for a month.
When we get there before school Lizzy comes skipping up to us. "Hay Katie!" She chimes a little to happily. "So this is Jonathan, you said he was a friend of the family right?" She giggles and tugs at one of the curls sticking out from under his beanie. "I'm Lizzy. Captain of the cheer squad and most popular girl at this school. Maybe you can sit with us at lunch?" She smiles flirtatiously and rests her hand on his shoulder.
"Sorry Lizzy," he says her name with venom, "I'm not interested."
"Aw come on John, you can never have too many friends." Her hand slides to his chest as she flutters her lashes.
"Its Jonathan not John. I have things to do. See you after school Katie."
"So, Katie, I heard that it got hot between you and Trevor yesterday. Then little hottie over there found you guys and blew a gasket. Is that the true story?" She asks as we walk over to the rest of the group.
"No, that isn't the story. Trevor was trying to force me into it when Jonathan saved me. He tackled Trevor and hit him a few times. Now we all have detention for a month. That's the truth. If anyone says differently then they are wrong. So did you get any last night?" I try to switch it off the subject and know that she loves to tell of the newest guy she has prostituted herself to.
"Oh god, like you wouldn't imagine..." She tells the whole group about the 'fun' she had but I just tune her out.
