~Chris's P.O.V.~
I was walking down to my sociology class when suddenly a few of the guys from the football team came over. "So, is it true? Are you seriously doing a project with a bunch of losers?" Nate, a muscular guy asked. "Yeah. And they aren't losers either." I stated. "Dude. Two nerds, and two fattys. That sounds like losers to me. The only cool person is Katie." Nate replied, making hand gestures as he talked. Some not very appropriete, pissing me off. "They are not! And the only losers in our school is the people like you! You treat others like they are peasants! You have no respect for girls or school! You make others feel like crap just to satisfy your lonelyness! And its because of people like you that this world is going to hell!" I screamed in his face, now full of rage. No body talks about my friends that way! EVER! "Why are you defending them? They aren't even your friends! We're your friends!" He says motioning the guys around us. "No, they aren't my friends. You know why? Because they are my BEST FRIENDS! You aren't my friends! They are my real friends. Friends I can trust to not stab me in the back like you!" I yelled. "You know what? Don't talk to me. Don't ever say another word to me unless you change your ways!" I screamed as I stomped off. I got to class and sat down. "Are you okay?" A soft, small, quite voice asked. I turn my head to see Ema looking at me with her soft, worried face and eyes filled with concern. "Yeah." I said with a raspy voice from all the yelling and giving a small smile. "Don't lie. What happened?" She asked with her soft voice. I looked down at my desk. I looked back up. "Just some guys from the football team. Thats all." I said giving another smile. "And what did they do?" She asked. "They were calling you guys losers. I stood up for you guys. You guys are my real friends, and I'm not going to let anyone mess with you. Except at the schools for the project." I told her, smiling. She started laughing at the last part. She stopped when others started to come in and went back to her book. Soon, Mr. Smith walked in.
