Twenty-One

*Maddie P.O.V*

I gasped, watching the video of the little baby on Facebook. It was adorable, squealing and smiling away playing with its toys. Oh, to have a baby.

"Holy shit, you scared me." Blake said.

I laughed. "I'm so sorry. This baby is adorable!" I exclaimed.

"Baby? What baby?" Reece asked, so I showed him my phone. Blake and George gathered around to look.

"I want one." I said, watching the video again and again.

"No. No, no, no." Reece said. "Remember, you're 18. Only just turned 18, too."

"Why does that matter?" I pouted, and I received a death stare in return.

"I'll text Brad right now and tell him." Blake said.

"NO! I'm joking, I'm joking, don't tell Brad." I said. God, could you imagine?! We've not been together for that long at all.

"The panic in your voice." Reece laughed.

"I'm joking, I'm joking, don't tell Brad." George and Blake impersonated, and all three of them were laughing.

I pouted and stuck my finger up at them, turning back to my phone. I'm such a jokey sulking person when people make fun of me.

"Anyway, didn't you sleep round Brad's yesterday or something?" Reece asked.

"Yeah, I did." I said, wondering where he was going with this.

"First night together, right?" Reece asked, and Blake nudged him, George trying not to laugh.

"You're all so dirty!" I exclaimed, burying my head into my jumper - well, Brad's jumper. "Nothing happened! We literally went out for a meal, didn't get home til just before 11, I think? Then we watched Netflix, and I fell asleep after like an hour or whatever. So no, thing like that happened if that's what you're wanting to know."

"Calm down love, we ain't interested." Reece laughed. "Anyway, I know you. I'll be able to figure it all out before you've even told me that it's happened."

"I don't even doubt that." I said, laughing. "Can we like - not - talk about this anymore?" Talking about me and Brad having sex for the first time with Reece, George and Blake is not something I want to participate in anymore, thank you very much.

The lads chuckled to themselves, and started discussing going out into town to grab something to eat.

*Brad P.O.V*

The front door opened and closed, and Maddie called out a hello. I heard her drop down her keys and bag, and she entered the room.

"Hey." We all said, and Maddie came to sit beside me.

This was the first time that we'd been together around all 3 of the boys.

"Hey. How was it today?" Maddie asked, directing the question at all of us.

"Pretty good, actually." James said.

"We definitely got a lot discussed." I said.

"Oh yeah, it's just been talk, talk, talk all day." Con agreed.

"That's good then." I said. "This makes me very excited for tour."

"Everything makes you excited for tour." Con said.

"Leave me alone!" Maddie said, and she laid her head on my arm, taking hold of my hand.

As the others started to chat amongst themselves, I started to talk to Maddie. "How was it today?" I asked, and Maddie looked up at me.

"It was good thanks! We hung out at Reece's and went out to get some lunch, Blake and George were with us too. They were still there when I left." Maddie said.

"Sounds like you had a good day then. Where did you go for lunch?" I asked.

"Greggs, and then to Starbucks afterwards." She said, with a smile. "How was your day?"

"Interesting, and despite being sat in a room having discussions all day, it wasn't boring." I said.

"I have a good feeling about this tour - I reckon it's going to be better than the last one." Maddie said, and I nodded.

"I agree. I also can't wait for the album to come out and to sing all the new songs. Speaking of singing the new songs, I've spoken today about having If I Was Your Man on the setlist." I told Maddie.

"And what was said about that?" She asked.

"It's looking hopeful." I said, making Maddie smile. "Also, Connor told Joe about us singing Personal together. Joe knows about us now too. I told him today."

"How did he react?" Maddie asked.

"He's very happy for us, he gives his congratulations and told me to say hi to you. Of course he said you're welcome to come on tour with us again." I said, and we both smiled at each other.

"Oi you two lovebirds, stop having whispered conversations a second." Con interrupted, and we both started laughing.

"What is your problem?" Maddie laughed.

"We're wondering what we should get for dinner. Should we get a chinese?" Con asked.

"I'm down for that." I said.

"Same here. Gotta love chinese!" Maddie said.

"I'll go pick it up if you want." I offered, and Maddie said she would come as well.

"Sorted, we'll order it and you two can go and collect it." Con said. "What does everyone want?"

Within half an hour, we had it ordered and me and Brad were driving into town to collect the food.

"Did you want to stay over tonight?" Maddie randomly blurted out.

"Cons already offered me to stay over." I said, smiling.

"And what did you say?" Maddie asked, looking hopeful.

"I said I can't stay..." I started saying, but as soon as I saw Maddie's face drop, I started laughing. "I'm joking, I'm joking. I'm staying, if you want me to. Con put my stuff upstairs already."

"Yay." Maddie said, smiling once more. "I can't believe Connor beat me to ask you." She shook her head, and I chuckled.
