If I Was Your Man (BWS)

*Brad P.O.V*

Maddie sang along to her music as she sat at her dresser getting ready to meet Dean.

We've chosen a nice private area to meet Dean where we won't be disturbed. It's a nice cliff top place above a small secluded beach that's hidden out of the way, there's hardly anyone there whenever I've been before. If it's quiet enough, we might even go down onto the beach for some pictures. It's about an hours drive away, so it'll be a fun little roadtrip for us, but I know Maddie will make it fun. She always makes travelling on tour fun, so this should be even better. Plus, she said she's organised a playlist and everything.

"Okay, I'm ready!" She said once the song ended. "Now I'm dying for a Starbucks." She said, standing up.

"Are you now?" I said, getting up and walking over to her.

"Yes indeed." She said, giving me a quick kiss and then grabbing her bag. She was going to film a little roadtrip vlog for both of us, which we had already filmed an intro for.

Last night we had a discussion about how we were going to go about telling everyone. We decided to post the pictures that Dean is taking of us on Instagram, then an hour afterwards we would post the roadtrip vlog. Then the following week she would post the 'boyfriend does my makeup' video.

She had also said that at some point she wants me, her, Connor and Reece to do a video together which would be a boyfriend vs brother vs best friend video. I've seen a lot of these online, so she'll just ask us questions and we'll all have to answer and see who's correct to see who knows her best kind of thing. If I'm placing bets on it, I'll loose and Reece will win.

Maddie took hold of my hand and we walked downstairs together. We said a brief goodbye to Connor and then went and jumped in the car.

Before too long, we were on the road. Maddie's phone was linked to the car and she was playing some absolute bangers that we both grew up listening too, as well as new songs that were big on the radio right now. It was nice to have a throwback.

"I'm going to film a little bit now before we get to Starbucks." Maddie said.

"Alright cool." I said, and she started her recording, holding the camera so we were both in the shot.

"Good morning everyone, it is now the next day and me and Brad are in the car on the way to meet Dean. We've got about an hours drive, so we're going to grab a Starbucks and listen to some throwback songs to waste time. I'm so excited, how about you?" She asked, and I looked over and smiled.

"I'm proper excited." I said, being truthful. This is literally a perfect day for me - getting to spend the day with my girl, on a mini roadtrip and then getting to take cute pictures with her in a very lovely area? Sign me right up. "This roadtrip is looking fun already and we've only been driving for 10 minutes."

"Let's hope it stays fun." Maddie laughed, and then she gasped. "Okay, okay, we've arrived at Starbucks." She said, turning the camera so she could get the entrance in shot.

We parked up and went inside, ordering our drinks and getting our names put on them. Soon enough we were back in the car.

"Wait, babe, hold your drink up next to mine. Look at that, omg, let me get my phone." Maddie said, and she put her camera in her lap and took out her phone. She went onto Snapchat and took a picture of our drinks, held up in front of the windscreen with the sun shining through, our names both visible to the camera. She showed me the picture afterwards. It was quite cute actually. I can see why she wanted a picture. I knew that would end up on her private story.

Maddie continued to talk to the camera, babbling on about the day and how excited she was and her different ideas for pictures she wanted to take with me. I watched her as she talked, admiring everything about her. I honestly feel like my heart could literally combust, I love her that much. Call me a simp, I don't care. This girl and this girl alone is the only thing I need in my life.

I was pulled out of my daydream as Maddie turned to look at me. "What you thinking about?" She smiled.

"You." I said.

"Good things I hope?" She said, and I smiled.

"Of course, it's always good things." I said, kissing her cheek and then putting the key in the ignition, starting up the car. She rounded off the video explaining she would be back when we arrived, and then she put down the camera, tucking it safely into her bag.

"Can I ask you a question?" Maddie said, turning to look at me.

"Go ahead." I said, looking between her and the road.

"Are you ready to, you know, tell everyone about us? Because obviously once it's out there, there's no going back." Maddie said.

"Of course I'm ready. I'm ready if you're ready. I want to literally scream from the rooftops that you're mine. I've never been more ready for something in my life." I said, and she smiled.

"I just get worried that you feel forced into this." She said.

I took one hand off the steering wheel and took hold of her hand that was in her lap. "Not at all babe. Not at all." I smiled.
