Twenty-Eight

*Brad P.O.V*

"This has been so fun." I said, and we both laughed. "Seeing the way the fandom flips out at every single little thing between us recently."

Me and Brad had both tweeted something very tell-tailing on our accounts, just to meddle with things further.

"It's adorable! I mean, on the most part." Maddie said, the smile disappearing from her face. I know she'd come across some hate comments these past few days and she said she was okay with it but I knew it was hurting her to see them.

I put down my phone and put my arms around her, pulling her in for a cuddle. I knew I couldn't protect her from the hate comments, and I couldn't tell her there wouldn't be any because there's bound to be. It always happens. Some people will get jealous, some people won't want us together. But I want to make her feel as loved as possible so that she tries not to let the hate comments get the better of her.

"Do you want a Starbucks?" I asked.

Maddie's smile returned to her face. "Yes please." she smiled, and she sat up. She kissed my cheek and then jumped up, holding out her hands to pull me up.

*Maddie P.O.V*

Me and Brad walked through a quiet area of London,  which was very pretty. It was a lovely more secluded area and it was lovely to have some time for just me and Brad. When we're at home, it's usually Con or Tris also in the house, so we're usually only alone if we go out somewhere.

"So tomorrow are we going to film the 'boyfriend does my makeup' video?" I asked.

"If you want to. It could be pretty funny to film that." Brad said.

"Yes please!" I said. "I've obviously got everything at home. Rules are, no cheating. You can't go googling how to do makeup or what everything is. I can give you some guidance but... you're mainly going to be alone on it."

"You know your makeup will look nothing like it usually does." Brad said.

"It's fine, make me look like a clown for all I care." I said. "It's you doing it, so I don't mind."

"Nah, you won't look like a clown. Well, you might. But you'd be a beautiful clown." Brad said.

"You're so cheesy." I laughed, and he stopped walking and twirled me around so I was facing him. "Cheesy in a good way."

He chuckled, pulling me in for a kiss.

"So, I was thinking we could have several videos filmed to put out in the first week of when we tell everyone. That reminds me!" I gasped.

"Reminds you of what?" Brad asked.

"I thought of some really cute pictures we could take together to post when we tell everyone. I've got some examples on my phone, found them on pinterest." I said.

"Since when did you have time to go through and find pictures?" Brad laughed.

"When you weren't around and I was lonely." I pouted, and he chuckled, taking hold of my hand and beginning to walk with me again. I showed him images on my phone, and he agreed.

"I would love to recreate those with you." Brad said.

"Really?" I said, getting excited all over again. I adore how much effort he puts into us, and how much he seems to want to do what I want, and is so invested in us. I knew he would be a great boyfriend but I never imagined he would be like this.

"Of course." Brad said.

"Thank you!" I said, and we reached the car and got in.

*Brad P.O.V*

I lied on the bed, playing with Maddie's hair as she scrolled through instagram on her phone, showing me various different posts and videos that came up.

I heard someone run up the stairs, and Maddie was about to say something when there was a knock on the door.

"Come in." Maddie said.

"You two- you're so done for now." Connor said, bursting in.

"What are you on about?" Maddie said, sitting up and looking confused. I sat up as Connor walked over, holding out his phone for us to look at.

I saw it was a news article, and I read the title; The Vamps Lead Singer Dating Fellow Band Members Sister?

"Well they've made that sound great haven't they?" Maddie scoffed.

"It gets better." Connor said, showing us another.

Bradley Simpson and Madeline Ball: All You Need To Know

"How many are there?" I asked.

"I've seen 4 articles circulating on twitter. The other two are titled, 'Wake Up The Vamps fans: Brad could be off the market' and 'Brad Simpson has a new girlfriend? Don't take it personal'" Connor said.

"Those are so cringey." Maddie said, making little sick noises that had us all laughing.

"I know, that's what I thought. Anyway, you two are definitely being found out. My twitter has been going nuts today, these articles are everywhere. What are you gonna do?" Connor asked.

"I don't know. Maybe I should ring Joe. It's our fault anyway, we're the ones who have been stirring it in." I said.

"I can't say I'm surprised, we've been teasing the fans a little." I said. "We'll think up a plan I'm sure of it."

"I'll go ring Joe." Brad said.
