*Maddie P.O.V*

Me and Brad danced away in the middle of the dance floor, and at this point I had no clue where anyone else was.

It was now pushing on to 1am and we were all... quite drunk. Last I checked, there wasn't one of us from our little group sober. Initially, Con, Luce and Reece had all come down to have a little dance with us, but they'd all merged away at some point to god knows where. Not sure I want to know either.

The song ended, and another started up - and I nearly fell over. Luckily, Brad caught me.

"How did you manage that?" I said, getting over giggly.

"I honestly don't know. Instinct?" Brad laughed. "Anyway, I have a suggestion. Let's go get another drink?"

"Yes!" I said, and took his hand as he lead me to the bar.

"Hello how can I help you?" The guy asked.

"Hi, please can..." Brad's voice faded away as I looked to the right and noticed Reece talking to some girl. I tilted my head, trying to get a view of her. I didn't know her and he's never spoken about a girl - he must've just met her.

"Babe?" Brad said, pulling me out of my trance.

"Sorry." I said, looking at Brad again.

"What were you looking at?" He asked.

"Look, it's Reece." I said, looking back over. But Reece was gone. "Wait, he's- I swear he was just there. He was with a girl, I got distracted."

"Ooh, maybe there's a budding romance." Brad said.

"Well if it is then she better be nice." I said, my best friend instincts kicking in.

"Alright, your overprotective instincts are kicking in." Brad laughed, and the bar tender handed us our drinks. We thanked him and made our way to our booth at the back where we saw James, Kirstie, Tris, and Blake.

"Well it's quiet back here." Brad said as we sat down.

"Quiet?!" Kirstie laughed.

"It's a lot calmer back here than down in there." Brad said, nodding towards the dance floor.

"Well no shit." Tristan said.

Con and Luce appeared.

"They're finally back." James laughed.

"Sorry everyone, we miss much?" Con asked as they both sat down.

"Wouldn't know, me and Maddie only just got back here." Brad said.

"Blake, have you seen Reece with that girl?" I asked.

"Girl?!" Tris said.

"Yeah, I saw them together. Reece is chatting up some girl he met at the bar." Blake laughed.

"God, he's so drunk." I said. "He's not usually that ballsy."

"You never know, he might finally get a girlfriend then." Blake said.

"True. I wanna meet her." I said.

"I suggest you wait til you're sober to meet her." Brad laughed.

"What are you trying to say about me?" I said, crossing my arms.

"You don't wanna give off the wrong impression." Brad said.

"Wrong impression? The cheek." I said, joking around. The others laughed, and Brad chuckled to himself.

"Okay babe, pipe down." He joked.

"Make me." I said, and Brad's whole composure changed. His face dropped and he moved a bit in his seat, and I just flipped my hair over my shoulder and looked away.

"You didn't just-" Con said.

"Oh my god." Blake said.

"Maddie." James said, nearly choking on his drink.

"Excuse us." Brad smiled, and he gave me a look.

I widened my eyes at Kirstie and Luce and got up out of my seat. Connor said something but I couldn't hear him for Brad took me by the hand and lead me away from the table.

We walked around and out of a door, to the corridor to go down to the toilets. It was relatively quiet here, and the music was quieter for we now had a door semi blocking it.

"Did I push you a little too far?" I said, looking Brad dead in the eyes.

"You know exactly what you're doing." He said, and he pushed me back against the wall.

I smiled at him innocently, something I do quite often. I could see in his eyes the teasing was working. Exactly what I wanted.

"Hurry up and kiss me." I said. And that's exactly what he did.

I opened my eyes, it was broad daylight and I saw I was in Brad's room. I had Brad's arms around my waist - it was so cute when he cuddled me to sleep like this, which is most nights but you know.

I looked around for my phone but I couldn't see it anywhere. God, what even happened last night? The last thing I remember is... ooh. Yeah, that happened.

I don't remember getting home, but I remember what happened when we were home. But then again, a lot of the night was like that - I've got parts I can't remember, but parts I can. I guess the parts I forgot can't be that important.

Although one thing I know I needed right now was a drink. I haven't felt this thirsty in a while.

I slowly and carefully removed Brad's arms from around me without waking him. I slipped out of bed and grabbed a nearby hoodie of his to slip on to cover myself, and then crept out of the room. Once I'd successfully got out and closed the door behind me, I headed downstairs.

I found my bag at the bottom of the stairs. I picked it up and looked inside. Everything was still there, thank god. And there's my phone. 2%. Great, I'll put that on charge after I've got a drink. And how is it already 2pm...

I heard a noise coming from the kitchen. Tris must be up already. I walked in the room and saw Tris making himself a coffee.

"Morning." He said.

"Afternoon, actually." I said.

"Alright, Miss Technical. Sleep well?" He asked.

"Yeah thanks. What about you?" I replied.

"Well I did, after you and Brad quietened down." Tris said.

"What do you-" wait, shit. I know what he means now. "Oh my god." I said, pulling the hood of Brad's hoodie up and pulling the strings to hide my face.

"Hey, I'm not judging. At least you two enjoyed yourself." Tris smirked, and I walked past him, giving him a playful smack.

"I'm so sorry." I laughed, grabbing a cup and getting some water. "That's so embarrassing."

"Well, me and Brad live together, this was bound to happen when one of us got a partner." Tris said. "It's chill."

Wait until Brad learns that Tris heard us.
