I was in the shadows, so I could look through the upper corner of the doorway. Mike was glaring at Foxy. His hands were clinched into fists by his sides. With a jolt I realized Balloon Boy stood behind him, eyes wide. Endo was clearly just as shocked as I. What was going on?

Then I saw it. Foxy's eyes flickered.  My face reflected my horror.  Foxy was fighting to stay surfaced.  I wanted to interfere, but I stopped before I could move and listened to the arguement.

"Foxy, let us through," Mike said firmly even though terror was in his eyes.  Foxy seemed to have two voices. One was faint and barely understandable,  the other was harsh and dark.

"M-Mi-ikey, l-lad. How come ye-e been avoiding old Fo-oxy?" The harsh voice said.

Underneath I heard Foxy's desperate cry. "Mike! Don't listen to him! Get out of h-here!"

Balloon Boy suddenly bursted out screaming.

"Get him Mike!" He screamed. Foxy let out a screech.

"No!" The smaller voice cried as Foxy lurched forward. Mike was fast though. He threw BB one way and ran the other just as Foxy's jaws snapped where his head was a split second ago. Mike bursted into a run but Foxy had lost interest and turned to BB.

Mike realized he was gone and tried to stop but he was going to fast. The security guard slammed into a box of spare parts.

Balloon Boy screamed and Foxy struggled to lock his jaws on him, but BB was just managing to push Foxy back when he got close.  When Mike hit the box Foxy stopped and turned towards Mike,  who was slipping and struggling to stand.

What are you waiting for? I asked myself with a jolt. But I knew if I turned things would get worse. Only if I'm needed.

Foxy slammed into Mike. Immediately I thought Ok I'm needed!

Just as I crossed the threshold I heard an earsplitting cry from Mike.
