Alex stood and wrinkled his nose. Maggie followed and brushed off her yellow skirt. Then Robert came out and readjusted his eyepatch. Jake stood behind him and Toby rammed into his legs.
"Move!" He cried and struggled to stand shoving Jake aside. Then Freddy came out. By the time he came in all of the kids were screeching and fighting.
"You jumped In front of me!"
"Idiot, pay attention!"
"You think you're so grown up!"
"Whiny brat!"
"Leave her out of this!"
In the tussle, Jake's arm swung backwards and he hit Freddy who was standing shakily.
All of the kids shrieked in horror when the head rolled off revealing a man inside.
His eyes were empty, his face was curved in a smile, and odd enough he appeared purple in the flickering light.
"Who are you?" Maggie wailed.
He smiled and held his finger to his lips. Gripped tightly in his hand was a knife.
