The One Behind It All

Error

     The following night I completely lost it.  I was watching myself from the inside as I crawled down the hall. 'Wake up!' I yelled silently.

     Endo was aware. "Mangle, where are we going?" He asked. No reply. I willed myself against the force, but it was impossible.

     I heard Freddy talking in the repair room, and willed Endo to get his attention. We were about to pass it when he called out at last.

   "Freddy! Mangle's goin' for Mike!"

    Almost instantly I broke into a quick pace Freddy rushed out behind me with Foxy who looked pretty rough, Toy Chica, and Marionette behind him. 

       I stopped sharply and raced down the hall. 'Hurry!' I willed them silently. Endo had closed his eye, obviously panicking.

     I wanted to close my eyes so I didn't have to watch, but I couldn't.  Without hesitation, I jumped at Mike. He looked up at the last moment. Then, someone pulled on a stray wire, and I lost my balance and fell.

     I hit the ground with a loud noise that echoed through the resteraunt.  "Hurry!" Someone said. I was flailing around trying to stand when I felt a sharp pain and everything went black.

    When I came to I was in Kid's Cove.  Toy Freddy and Foxy were there at tge doorway, backs facing me. Endo was already awake.  He noticed me and smiled.

    "Mangle! You're awake!" He said cheerfully.  Toy Freddy and Foxy looked back.

   "Thank goodness," Toy Freddy said.  "It was worse this time. You actually attacked Mike. It seems that you and Foxy's kid really hate him." I studied a new crack in my hand. "Yea, no kidding," I said stiffly. 

     Foxy stared at the wall behind me. "Foxy? Are you ok?" I asked noting the negative look in his eyes. He shrugged. "I suppose lass.. "

    I looked back to Toy Freddy. "Did I hurt Mike?" I asked. He shook his head.  "Mike went home a little while ago. It's nearly opening time." I nodded. "And one more thing.  Please tell the others I said thanks.  I would have done something awful if they hadn't stopped me." They nodded and left surprisingly. I looked down at the floor.

     "Mangle?" Endo said. "Are ya ok?" He asked. I lifted my gaze. "Yes, I'm...I'm fine."
