Deku's POV

"You guys got the message too, right?" I ask the others.

"Yeah," a group of others said in unison.

It was a late night, about a two and a half weeks after the meeting at Sir NightEye's agency. After intense training, nobody would have been awake at this hour. Thinking about it now, no one would have been awake at this hour. However, us four and the Big Three (if I know them enough), have been jumping at every notification we've gotten, awaiting this singular piece of information: A date and time too meet for the mission.

"So this is it, huh?" Kirishima asks, holding on to his phone, everyone else doing the same.

"Yeah, no doubt about it." I respond. "This is the real deal."

"I really hope we're prepared, ribbit." Asui responds, doing her signature finger to chin motion.

"We've done all we could these last few weeks," Ochaco said, everyone nodding in agreement. "For now though its best that we rest."

"You've got the right idea. We can't be helpful if we aren't at our 100%," Kirishima nods. "Midoriya..."

I focus my attention to Kirishima who takes a few steps towards me.

"We've got this, we save her." He says as he holds his fist out to me. "I know this is still hurting you the most. Let's do this in the most manly way possible."

"You got it," I say, putting my fist to his.

Kirishima nods and starts walking to the opposite side of the building where his dorm was. Asui yawns and starts to head up the stairs towards the second floor.

I look down at my phone with the date and time still up. This is it. I get to rectify and fix this. I can save her. I remember back to the little white hairs girl, leaving my arms the moment her abuser had called her back, the memory more vivid than it ever has been.

'I will not let you go again.' I think to myself as I furrow my eye brows. Suddenly a soft touch makes its presence known on my forearm. I look to my side and see Ochaco with a bit of a worried face. I look around to make sure no one was around anymore.

"What's wrong Ochaco?" I ask sincerely.

Ochaco opened her mouth to say something but closed it again... seemingly not knowing what to say. She thinks for a second, her eyes never leaving mine. Suddenly, she starts walking towards the couch, still holding on to my arm forcing me to follow.

She sits on the vibrantly green couches and looks down at her feet. I sit close next to her.

"Ochaco, what's wrong, talk to me," I ask.

She stays silent for a second and then looks at me.

"I'm worried..." she says quietly. I look at her, contemplating what she meant.

"Ochaco, we'll succeed in the mission, we have too-"

"I know, I know..." she cut me off. "It's just... last time you broke your body when facing a villain. I remember your fight with Muscular."

My frown grows. She's not exactly wrong. Even at the level I'm at now, I'm sure I would've broken something fighting him.

"Ochaco, you know what Aizawa said, we're not gonna be directly in the fight-"

"Izuku, don't lie to me." Ochaco said sternly, looking me directly in the eyes. I was taken aback.

"I know you Izuku Midoriya, the moment you see the fight knowing you, you'll jump in there to protect whoever is in danger."
