Chapter 31: The Couples Calming

Izuku walked into his room, still carrying Eri on his shoulders, having to crouch through the doorway. There was a large cardboard box leaning against his bed. That must be the bed. Izuku took Eri off of his shoulders and placed her on his bed.

"You wait here while I go get some tools okay? I need to build your bed, so can you wait for me here?" Izuku asked. Eri nodded vigorously, still holding on to his phone. Izuku smiled and walked out the room, turning his light on as he passed by as to not leave Eri in the dark.

As Izuku walked out the door, Ochaco stood outside. He looked at her and started going towards Momo's room. He heard footsteps behind him. She was following him. He went up the stairs to the second level and found his way to his destination.

He knocked.

Momo opened the door to her room, standing in pajamas with Todoroki laying on the bed, unphased by the unannounced knock.

"Midoriya? Uraraka? Oh my, are you guys okay!? We saw the fight on the television and we were worried about you!" Momo said, Todoroki sitting up at the sound of Izuku's name.

"Midoriya, why weren't you using your quirk?" He said loudly, still in a monotone voice however.

Izuku sighed.

"I lost it."

"You what?" Momo asked, her eyes widening.

"I got hit with one of the Quirk Destroying drugs... I might not be able to use my quirk for awhile. Worst case scenario, ever." Izuku said, tiredly. This was not what he had come here to talk about.

"No... Midoriya..." Momo said, a hand to her mouth. Todoroki had leaned up to get out of Momo's over sized bed, however Izuku put a hand up.

"Stop. Don't worry about it. That's not what I came here for. I just need tools." Izuku said, trying to hide the irritation in his voice.

"Tools?" Momo asked.

"Yeah, long story short, I'm taking care of Eri for awhile. I need to build her a bed. I have the bed but they didn't leave me any tools to build it with. I was hoping you could make me a set, if it wasn't too much to ask."

"No not at all! Come in, I'll make a set real fast." Momo said, moving to allow the two in.

Izuku stood next to the bed where Todoroki was at while Ochaco sat quietly at Momo's desk.

Momo and Todoroki stared at the two of them before Momo started glowing in different parts of her body to create some tools.

"Just the basics?" Momo asked.

"That should be fine. I'm sure some Allen wrenches would do just fine honestly." Izuku said.

Momo nodded.

"Midoriya." Todoroki asked almost inaudible, only loud enough for Izuku to hear.

"Yes?" Izuku asked, matching his inaudible tone.

"Are you sure your okay. I see how you and Uraraka are acting. Is there more than just losing your quirk thats bugging you?" Todoroki asked.

Izuku stayed quiet for a second.

"You... could say that."

Before Todoroki could respond, Momo, who was closest to Ochaco, had finished making the tool set.

"And done!" She explained, holding it to Ochaco. Ochaco looked nervous as she looked at Izuku, who didn't show a sign of any emotion, and slowly grasped the tool set from Momo.

"T-Thank you." She said quietly. Momo gave her a quiziting look before turning to Izuku.

"Is there anything else you two need help with?" She asked.
