The room was dark, the deep misty grey walls, dirty from the lab not having had been in use in months, as the three quirk users stared each other down. Monoma sat across the table from Asagiri, both smiling their creepy smiles at each other. Yosuke watched from the corner, uncomfortable at the two. Where they having a smiling contest...?

"So I know you want me for a reason?" Monoma asked finally, leaning back in his chair. "While I have no intention of giving you the help you request, I am curious to know why you have such great taste in a Class 1-B student such as myself?"

"Oh, it's a simple request, I assure you!" Asagiri said, playing along with Monoma's attitude. "And I'm sure you've pieced together what it was being such a 'great Class 1-B student'..."

"I'm assuming you want me to Copy tear boy's quirk?"  Monoma asked, looking at his nails. Asagiri smiled wider.

"I'd be disappointed in a Hero course student if they couldn't figure it out!" Asagiri said sweetly. Monoma laughed.

"I am pretty amazing! I'm much more cut above the rest wouldn't you say?" Monoma said, praising himself. Yosuke watched from his corner as confused as ever. Wasn't this supposed to be a high tension moment? What's up with these two lunatics?

"And what do you gain from it? The Liberation offer you something?" Monoma asked, lowering the chair back on all fours. Asagiri shrugged.

"Nah, they're boring. I don't have too big of plans... Maybe do some experiments, get my hair done, bring back the greatest villain of all time All for One... You know, the usual."

Monoma's smile remained, however his eyes squinted slightly. They wanna bring back All for One? THAT All for One?

"You seem awfully content with allowing me to know such precious information..." Monoma said. Asagiri shrugged.

"Who are you gonna tell? Your stuck in here, there's no one." Asagiri said, however Monoma's smile slowly faded. That wasn't true. Monoma glanced over at Yosuke in the corner. So... Midoriya's amnesia didn't just appear out of nowhere...

"I guess I dont have anyone to tell huh..." Monoma said, going along with Asagiri's obvious lie. He would have to be careful around the guy in the corner.

"So then. Let's get down to business." Asagiri said seriously, dropping her facade. "You will be copying Midoriya's quirk. Simple as that."

"Yea sorry, that's not gonna happen." Monoma said, also getting serious. Asagiri rose an eyebrow.

"And why is that?" She asked curiously.

"Well other than the fact that you're clearly trying to release one of the most powerful villains of all time," Monoma said. "Midoriya's quirk is uncopyable. At least, you wouldn't get what you want. I've tried copying it before."

"Midoriya's quirk isn't super strength, is it?" Asagiri asked, taking out her notes. "When he uses his quirk, it's more like he's releasing energy... You can't copy the already piled energy can you?"

Monoma frowned. Even while trying to avoid the details, she was reading him like a book.

"And let's say that was the case..." Monoma said, choosing his words carefully. "How would you get around that issue?"

"I'm sure we can make a few... Amplifications to your quirk..." Asagiri said, not looking up from her notebook. Monoma stood up, his chair knocking back behind him.

"You're not messing with my Quirk," Monoma said simply. Monoma glanced at Yosuke, who had stood up straight in response to Monoma's sudden movement. "It wouldn't work anyway. I can't retain a quirk I copy. My body gets rid of it after awhile. Deletes it per say. And plus, I would never abandon or betray a fellow student. Whether it be a Class 1-B or Class 1-A student."
