Eri sat in the grass in front of Izuku, holding the brownish crumbling leaf in front of her. Eri looked down at the leaf and then back to Izuku.

"Are you sure? What if that happens again?" Izuku new what she was referring too. He thought back to when Eri lost control and almost wiped him from existence... That won't happen again... Hopefully.

"If you worry too much, you'll never control it you know." Izuku said, scooting closer too her. "Your quirk is apart if you. It's just like your fingers,"

Izuku tapped her fingers with his own as she continued to hold the leaf.

"Your quirk is the same way. If you start go out of control, I'll calm you down. Promise."

Izuku, in reality, had no idea how to stop her if she went out of control. But, he wanted the girl to have faith. To know she has someone to lean on. He would have faith in her the same way Ochaco had faith in him.

Izuku nodded and took his hand off of Eri's. Eri took a deep breath and closed her eyes. Her horn, which had been small since she had been with Izuku, started to grow slightly. Izuku silently sucked in his breath.

Eri's eyes furrowed a bit, but she remained at ease, her breathing steady. The yellow glow started to appear on her horn. The leaf in her hand started to repair itself, filling in cracks.

"Eri you're-!" Izuku started before clasping his hands over his mouth. Don't ruin her focus.

The least was starting to turn green. Izuku watched in awe. The leaf suddenly was a thick shade of green.

"Alright Eri," Izuku started. "Let's slow it down..."

Eri took more deep breaths, though they we getting deeper. She let go of the leaf and was now squinting hard. She was losing control.

Izuku thought as the yellow grew stronger. She needs to calm down, she's starting to panic. Izuku looked down at the little girls hands. Izuku took a deep breath. Have faith in her...

"Eri, it's okay. I'm here I believe in you."

Izuku took Eri's small hands in his. He felt the power of Eri coursing through him. He was being rewound. However his grip lightly tightened on her hands.

"Eri, slow down your breathing. Everything is okay. I am here for you Eri..."

Eri's eyes and eyebrows relaxed. Her breathing slowed. The yellow glow started to disappear and Izuku felt the power dissipate from his body. Eri opened her eyes and looked up at Izuku.

"Did... Did I do it?" Eri asked worriedly. Izuku smiled and directed her to the now green leaf on the ground.

"You did. I knew I could believe in you." Izuku said. "Though we do still have some work to go..."

Izuku and Eri looked around the dead Grass of winter they were sitting on, though now a circle of grass was green and alive surrounding the two.

Izuku chuckled.

"I'm proud of you Eri."

Eri's smile was wider than he had ever seen it. She jumped up with a laugh and jumped up at Izuku who caught her in the air.

"I DID IT! I DID IT! I controlled my quirk!" She cried out loudly as Izuku laughed.

"Now I can be just like you!" She said looking down at Izuku. Izuku gave her a confused look.

"Just like me?" He asked. She nodded.

"Yea! I can help people! I can be like you! A hero!"

Izuku stared up at Eri. She wanted to be a hero like him? Izuku's eyes started to water. He curled his lips trying his hardest not to cry as tears streamed down his cheeks. Eri's face fell.
